Lions locking in on Stafford
As reported by PFT, the Lions organization is "telling them" they currently plan to draft Stafford with the #1 pick. Smokescreen? Maybe.
If it's true, what do you think the Hawks will do with their #4? I hope it's not pick Sanchez!

If we never really wanted a QB (and I believe we do want one)
this might actually be good for our trade value. With only one good QB left, some team might be more willing to trade up. However, they might also think that we want Sanchez and trade up to 3 with KC and get Sanchez.

And of course Stafford will be delighted with the patchwork offensive line given to him
SSR's NFL Fun Fact: Andy Reid is the only coach in the league who uses the pass to set up the pass.

They could get lucky
and have Oher at 20 (or Britton I suppose) and Duke/Mack at 33. Perhaps Levitre or Eric Wood in the 3rd round? That’s a lot of emphasis on the offensive line, but who knows?

But it would be worth it to save a franchise QB.
And they can have Culpepper take the beating next season while they work the kinks out.

This would be amazing:
I would love to have whoever is left over from A. Curry, J. Smith, and E. Monroe. I would be stoked with any of those three.
