Some of these shots are hilarious, especially Lofa Tatupu wearing a football helmet and Matt Hasselbeck apparently being dressed as a girl. Thank you Seattle Times.

Very cool

I like the one of the Hasselbeck boys. Reminds me of an old pic my mom took of my brother and me.

OOOOOH!!!!! That was NASTY!!!!!!!!

Matt is older than Tim?

McCoy McCoy 2010, also acceptable, Russell Okung, Ndamukong Suh, Dez Bryant, Ciron Black, Eric Berry, and Bryan Bulaga.

Yes.

I remember a pre-draft interview with Tim where he was basically hoping his last name would be worth something to a prospective team.

Soe he's only 31 or something

and he’s already been working for ESPN for a few years?

Anyone else find it weird to turn on ESPN and see Tim Hasselbeck and Trent Dilfer arguing. Brock Huard sometimes as well? Shoot, why not just get John Freisz, Kitna when he retires, David Greene, and Charlie Frye as well.

Trent Dilfer at least won a SB

and knows a lot about the game. Tim Hasselbeck never did anything, I think he’s only there because of Matt. People recognize the last name.

Same thing with Herm Edwards though. The guy made the playoffs how many times? And then went to KC and did absolutely nothing. And he got a job? I think at the moment ESPN’s theory is to fill the place up with Football guys and hope people buy what they’re saying. Because at the moment they can’t find anyone like John Morgan to give them accurate analysis that doesn’t just agree with what everyone else believes.

Although to give them credit, I think I saw them bring a guy in from Pro Football Prospectus a week or two ago. So they are trying to make their coverage more in-depth and complete.

IMO, Tim H. is pretty good as an analyst.

I haven’t seen him on ESPN, but I heard a lot of him when he co-hosted a show on Sirius NFL Radio – I think he cut his teeth there for a few years before ESPN started calling him up. Pretty level headed guy, and you can tell he and Matt have that same dry, sarcastic sense of humor. He’s also a little like Hugh Millen when he starts talking X’s & O’s – and just because he wasn’t talented enough to be more than a 3rd stringer doesn’t mean he doesn’t know what he’s talking about when it comes to breaking down the game or explaining schemes and stuff.

Funny thing is, I remember reading once that of the two, he was the one always considered the better athlete and more heavily recruited than Matt. Just another random example to throw in the “difficult to predict success” bin.

These pictures...

are simply wonderful [not to mention 100% adorable.] Agreed, Marcus Trufant’s “Arsenio Hall cut” is priceless!

As is Tatupu’s shot with the Patriots helmet on… In fact, if I were an opposing QB lining up across from Tatupu at “Mike,” in my head, I would simply replace this:

with this:

Not quite as intimidating. Almost,… but, not quite.

"And the life of man, solitary, poore, nasty, brutish, and short." Thomas Hobbes' "Leviathan"

"But, in spite of these things, it was a gay and magnificent revel." Edgar Allen Poe "The Masque of the Red Death"

All fear the Tatupu stare down!

No matter how old Tatupu is.

I would love to see Tatupu as a grumpy old man, staring down young whippa snappas. That’ll be a terrifying site.

Is it just me, or does Baby Lofa's helmet say 'Hutch' on it?

Just when I’ve nearly forgotten the pain, some random reminder viciously opens the wounds and pours gratuitous amounts of salt…

Oh, and technically it's not a dress - it's a frock

Many of us born in the mid 70’s or before, were unfortunate enough to have our parents put ’em on us, too.
