I was lucky enough to see him a couple years ago.
His son was playing in a baseball tourny in Maltby(between Snohomish and Monroe) and my brother was the umpire. He called me, I tracked down my old refuse to lose newspaper insert from 95, drove down to watch the game. After the game he signed it.
That's amazing.

Man, I love Griffey
I don’t care if he’s hitting .200, it’s great to see him in an M’s uniform again. I just got back from the game at Yankee Stadium and witnessed probably the last Griffey HR I’ll ever see live. It was awesome…made losing bearable.
That wouldn't have cleared the fence anywhere else.
