It's kinda neat
How the author calls our outside WR’s the Killer B’s
2/3 of the world is covered by water. The rest is covered by Marcus Trufant.

I hope that's the case
That’s almost optimistic. Is Branch recovered, is Butler ready. Is Burleson recovered for that matter, but I have faith in him. For us to have three B receivers, in addition to Housh (a B receiver) and Carlson, wow, that would be spectacular.
…
…
Oh. All their names start with B. Bah.

There is no mention of defense anywhere in the article
Not only do our TEs suck, but this “puts a lot of pressure on the runnig (sic) back and receivers to pick up the short yardage.” Apparently, we don’t have any receivers that can work the middle.
I think the winning line of the piece is this:
Those faults will hold Seattle back this season, and the Seahawks will likely have to settle for a 7-9 record and third place in the NFC West.
The only “faults” mentioned are the lack of an elite RB and the lack of a “quality tight end”. Apparently, we’re going to get beat out of 2nd by SF and their high-powered offense.

"Scoring could be what separates the 49ers from the Seahawks for second place in the division."
Besides the fact I can almost guarantee the 49ers offense will finish in the mid 20s…
For the love of Christ, does anyone else not realize that whoever wins their QB competition is still arguably, if not easily, a bottom 5 starting QB? And their offensive line is trash?

I hope he knows more about the Blazers and the WWE
The dude says JJ isn’t a game-changer (not to mention his oversight of our studly TE) but doesn’t mention that Hightower averaged 2.8 YPC. And saying the Rams will be lucky to win two? Bull. I bet they’ll be competing with the Niners for third place; both will get five or six wins.

Ah.
My first question was going to be, did this guy get paid for this?
He sounds like a 9ers fan who considers himself realistic. SF could surprise, but the playoffs are a year away and they’ll pull away from Seattle finish second, with one more game won this year than last. Heh.
Such an informed and enlightened NFC West observer that he can’t even be bothered to evaluate the Rams at all, or whether there’s any reason why the Cardinals won’t simply repeat.

The article is divided between 3 pages
You might have missed the first and the last (like I did on first reading).

Wow.
“More than a few eyebrows were raised when the Seahawks sacrificed a third-round pick in order to move up in the second round of the ’08 draft to select the 6-5, 251-pounder out of Notre Dame.”
Yeah, not really. We got the best TE in the draft. Thanks for passing him up, Jets!
