Trent Dilfer out for 8 Weeks, Holmgrem confident in untested Hasselbeck's abilities.
No source today, I was cleaning out some old newspapers at my parents house, as they're going to remodel this week, and read this headline. It was like 2002 I think. Ah, nostalgia.

Glad Dilfer went out for those 8 weeks.
Good riddance to him.
Hass has been a stud, “give us the ball we’re gonna score” aside.

I remember being so frustrated with Holmgren
because he couldn’t get it through his thick skull that this kid just didn’t have it. I thought, we gave him an enormous chance, before, way more than adequate to prove himself, he just doesn’t have it.
Heh. I know football!

I remember thinking:
There goes the Seahawks’ season. But the last 4 games that Hasselbeck played that year, it really changed my outlook for the 2003 season. I felt after watching Hasselbeck play in those 4 games, that the Seahawks could become a playoff caliber team, and they did.

So, someone care to venture as to what this means?

"Part, fools!
Put up your swords. You know not what you do."
