Not to be alarmist, but with the previously heavy discussion of the potential of lime-green alternate jerseys seemingly subsided, I thought I'd take this time to post this screenshot from Madden '10. Unless this is some strange programmer joke, it would appear that the controversial threads could be coming to life...

I was pretty against them when I initially saw them...

but seeing them on (virtual) players makes me kind of antsy to see 11 of these flying around on defense and a very bright TD celebration in the endzone at Qwest. If it’s just for a game a season, then I say let it happen.

I think the wildest game would be the Hawks in these alternates playing the Eagles in their 75th anniversary jerseys on the Boise State Smurf Turf. The result would be exploding heads and spontaneous involuntary abortions for anyone watching the game.
