Policy on Breaking News
For all future fanshots or fanposts about breaking news, especially news of a sensitive nature, the post must be limited to a link, a link and a brief description or a link and a quote. A recent fanshot about Steve McNair's death included information compiled from multiple sources without links to those sources and much of that information proved to be false. Given the high sensitivity of the story, that's unacceptable. It's important that never happens again.
A place to bury strangers.

A title?

Thank you for setting a standard.
Baseless speculation, especially in those sensitive situations, can spiral out of hand.

I'm glad you caught this.
I know you mentioned putting something together before the season starts but could we get some guidelines on acceptable comments as well? Just grammar, spelling and chat speak stuff would be great.

I'll handle that closer to training camp
We should get a big bump in traffic and that will be the best time to address the most people without constantly re-posting or relinking to it.

Good, clear standard.
Should this be on the sidebar?
