Kelly Jennings is ranked 3rd RCB while Kevin Hobbs is ranked 2nd LCB
According to the depth chart on seahawks.com , it is interesting to see Kevin Hobbs ahead of Kelly Jennings. Is this a sign of things to come? What do you guys think of the CBs? Kevin Hobbs adds significant size compared to Kelly Jennings but will that size translate on the field?
I feel like Kelly Jennings is not as bad as Brian Russell made him look but he also lacks the ability to make a play on the ball. I do think this is Jennings make or break year if he makes the team.
A place to bury strangers.

I'm not sure what to make of the depth charts this time of year.
But, it seems like I have read Hobbs’ name being involved in a breakup or pick, practice after practice, for 2 years now. John may be better suited than I to explain why he hasn’t taken it to the field, but if he can / does this year, it would clearly not bode well for Jenning’s future, here.

Kelly Jennings has been injured
And I don’t think has participated much in practice, which would explain his drop in the depth chart. But then Redding is also listed as DT thought they intend to use him mostly at DE, and Burleson is listed as WR1. I doubt they spent more then a minute coming up with their depth chart for the website so I wouldn’t over-think it too much.

Yes, depth charts in early July are like "power rankings" at, well... any time.
Useless.

Do you think Mora personally updates the Seahawks.com rankings on a weekly basis?

He should hire Frank Hughes.

That would require Frank to actually do something.

Whoops, hit enter by accident
Anyways, I found it interesting that he’s 3rd in KR (which goes to show that this chart is a load of bullocks).
But, imagining that big bulldozer doing kick returns is quite funny.

I could have sworn Duckett returned once last season.
Don’t remember the exact game.

Week 6 against the Packers
He returned the opening kickoff for 21 yards

See, I knew I wasn't crazy.
At first I thought it was the Miami game but then I remembered it was Duckett who got illegally blocked on Ted Ginn’s pseudo-KR touchdown and didn’t return any himself.

The new FO Almanac bangs on Duckett pretty good.
But does credit him as “on a per-carry basis, probably the best goal-line back in football”
Early prospect watch: RB C.J. Spiller, QB Jevon Snead, OT Ciron Black, DT Gerald McCoy, S Eric Berry, DT Ndamukong Suh, CB Ras-I Dowling 6'2, 200, RB Jonathan Dwyer

Is it available in bookstores?
Or is it online?

Well, at least he gets props somewhere.
I get tired of hearing about how “terrible” our running backs are.

Damn, I didn't know Duckett was that fast
I guess I retract my previous statement.

I know I'm in the minority, but...
“I feel like Kelly Jennings is not as bad as Brian Russell made him look…”
I don’t think Kelly Jennings or Brian Russel are as bad as Julian Peterson made them look.

Huh?
Do you feel that Peterson wasn’t pressuring QBs enough, giving them time to pick apart the secondary? Or that Peterson was simply a much better player (albeit in a different position) and made them look bad by comparison?

I think Blue Talon is actually Brian Russell
he’s come in to defend himself and I don’t know why he hates Julian Peterson so much.

Yeah.
I don’t understand why everybody dislikes Julian Peterson now that he’s gone.

Jennings Is A Turd
When they drafted him I was like WTF? There is no way this guy can hang in the NFL because he can’t tackle for shit.
Peterson is gone because he couldn’t stick to his assignments.
Russell is a big ? in the secondary

So many ??s
How will Russ do in the secondary? Can Jones be a franchise back? Will Walter survive another season? Will Burleson and Branch be above average?? And a slew of others. Aaahh am I losing my faith? why must I question so…
