DJ Hackett - whatever happened to him?
One of my favorite Seahawks from the past few years has been 3rd/4th receiver D.J. Hackett. If you don't remember him, he was kind of a poor-man's Terrell Owens, in that he was tall and could jump, and seemed to have a knack for big catches. Then he sprained his ankle and basically never played again for the Hawks - he signed with Carolina for 2 years $3.5 mil (which seems like a deal compared to say, Nate Burleson), but it seemed like the Seahawks had decided to move on and wouldn't sign him at any price. He got hurt again with Carolina, who simply waived him, and now's he's signed with Washington.
Does anyone with more info know what the story was with his original injury? A ankle sprain - even a bad one - doesn't seem that serious that two teams would pass.

DJ = Injury Prone
Thus, two teams passed on him. It’s not just a case of one ankle sprain, the guy simply can’t stay healthy.

He was one of my favorites as well.
I still have his #18 hanging in my closet. I never wear it because I don’t want to get injured walking around my house. :)
I was really hoping we would bring him back but I think his time in the training room burnt some bridges here. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him put up some big numbers when/if he plays a whole season.
In my opinion he is 2x the WR Nate is at 1/5th the cost. I think that makes him about 10x as valuable…..
Irate Nate fans unite and call me an idiot!!!! Ready go!
I saw a Kelly Jennings INT.......really....
I bomb your house
Idjut! :-P…. Jk but I think 10x as valuable is pushing it lol.
Was that irate enough??

Couldn't stay healthy,
and was pretty terrible with the Panthers even when healthy

He's with the skins now.
Last game, he made a sweet grab over the middle, looked like 06.
It's Great to be a Florida Gator!
The Skins cut him
