Questions about Chiefs vs. Seahawks

Hey guys Im Tomahawk from Arrowhead Pride. Are you guys ready for the old AFC West clash at Arrowhead? Its going to be exciting to see our starters play a lot more this weekend and to see how our teams will look with a little more reps.

The Chiefs offseason has been pretty exciting and the red sea is coming back alive after acquiring a new GM in Scott Pioli and a new head coach in Todd Haley. Since these two guys have been in KC the team has changed quite a bit and still is even today when we acquired two Miami offensive linemen. Here are a few of our new players:

  • QB Matt Cassel
  • LB Mike Vrabel
  • WR Bobby Engram
  • WR Amani Toomer
  • LB Zach Thomas
  • DB Mike Brown

So far KC has lost both of its preseason matchups to the Texans and Vikings but we have clearly found some of our strenghts and weakness. The Chiefs look to have found a better pass rush and the defensive unit as a whole played pretty solid against the Vikings and Brett Favre holding Favre to one completion for 4 yards. We have also found a couple of gems in backup linebacker Corey Mays and Mr.Irrelevant Ryan Succop has been solid. Our clear weakness is our offensive line (trying to fix with the trade today) who has got pushed around and let tons of pressure on the new QB  Cassel causing him to make plays while scrambling around.

I will be looking to see how KC's offensive line will improve this week and to see if our pass rush can keep it up. I am also looking to see if any WR besides Bowe will step up and become the second go to guy. What are your guys thought on the game this Saturday and what will you guys be looking for from the Seahawks? Feel free to ask any question about the Chiefs you would like I'll try getting some of the guys over here to help answer if I cant answer it for you.
