Cardinals Lose Second-Round Pick, Linebacker Cody Brown
Cody Brown was a productive defensive end for the Connecticut Huskies. He measured 6'2", 244 pounds at the NFL Combine. Arizona was converting Brown to rush linebacker in their 3-4. On a team with few pass rush specialist, Brown, though only a rookie, was being counted on to contribute. He is now out for the season with a dislocated wrist that included tendon damage.

Ouch.
That certainly is lousy news for the Cards.
It seems strange to me that a defensive player would be out...
for the season with a wrist injury. It just seems like they should be able to tape it up and go for it. I mean, hell, remember THIS GUY?
Please, for the LOVE OF GOD, stop suggesting next year's 1st round pick (or picks) be used for Taylor Mays and or a QB of the future. Let's just let the season unfold, people, and evaluate much deeper in the process!!!

There are dislocated bones in the wrist
They re-set them and have to wait for the swelling to go down before they can perform surgery on him. A typical recovery from the surgery is 4-6 months.
Brett Favre is the Kenny Powers of football.
Sucks. You never like to see a player get injured.
Sounds painful in general, not being able to use your hand for a while.
I use the other hand.

Wrist
Complicated stuff – the wrist is the only joint on the body that is not actually a joint – just a bunch of stuff that floats around. I had a friend who sprained his right wrist in a construction accident. No broken bones, no ligament tears, just a severe sprain. After numerous surgeries, they gave up and fused it solid.
Go 'Hawks.
