Post Your Hawk: REBORN! Week 1 the Rams (gif)
Hello.
For those of you new to Field Gulls one and only PYH, welcome. For those of you returning, ...welcome back. This is the time where you get to pick your one Seahawk to do well this week. It can be something awesome as Housh going for 2 tds, 13 recs, 140yds or Josh Scobey 2 tds, cures AIDs, finds out why the newest Harry Potter was soo bad, and 3 hard hits.
Another part that you need to submit is what you think the score will be.
So for me it will be Burleson 8 recs, 2 tds (1 rec and 1 punt return, it will happen JM), 80 yds receiving.
Hawks 24-9.
And for good measure, thank you NFL for coming back just in time for me to start Pre-Med School.

WOOOOOOOOOOOO IT'S BACK!!!
Anyways, I’ll pick Hasselbeck. 18-28 for 235 yards and three TD’s. Seahawks crush the Rams, 35-7.
A Mariners fan in Seattle
Damn!
Can I still pick Mebane? I’m starting him in an IDP league. He’s going to be a monster if he’s not double/triple-teamed all day.
Early prospect watch: RB C.J. Spiller, QB Jevan Snead, OT Ciron Black, DT Gerald McCoy, S Eric Berry, DT Ndamukong Suh, CB Ras-I Dowling 6'2, 200, RB Jonathan Dwyer
Curry
3 sacks, 1 int, 5 tackles
Seahawks 52-3
Fuck yeah.
2/3 of the world is covered by water. The rest is covered by Marcus Trufant.
Been watching Shaq Vs, eh?

For my fantasy team's sake
Matt Hasselbeck – 21-29 for 266 yards and 3 touchdowns.
We win 38-10.
"[Aaron] Curry is not a good pass-rusher" - Fearless Frog, 4/25/2009
Big Play Babs
Welcome to the new look Hawks secondary! Babs with 1 int (returned for a TD at a critical point in the game) and 1 ff.
Butler
Others will have larger roles that actually contribute to winning more, but after the game we’re all gonna be talking about his 2 catches for 88 yards and a td.
69 yard pass to the house at some point.
Hawks win 31-14.
Julius Jones
112 yds, 2 TD – Hawks 31, Sheep 10
"The truth will set you free. But not until it is finished with you."
- David Foster Wallace R.I.P.
Yay PYH is back!
This week’s pick: TJ Housh.
6 catches, 103 yds, TD.
Is that the light at the end of the tunnel, or the headlights of an oncoming train?
Oh, and Hawks win 31-10
Is that the light at the end of the tunnel, or the headlights of an oncoming train?
I just gave up Dallas Clark for John Carlson
Change my pick to
Carlson, 7 catches for 111 yards and a TD.
"[Aaron] Curry is not a good pass-rusher" - Fearless Frog, 4/25/2009
That's putting your money where your mouth is.
I love it.
Side note, be big about things and change your sig?
Why change my sig?
I’m keeping this for as long as Curry is awesome.

He's not a troll
Just pointing out that specific quote.
He’s either 100% correct or dead wrong.
"[Aaron] Curry is not a good pass-rusher" - Fearless Frog, 4/25/2009
I'm perfectly fine with it.
I’d love to be 100% wrong about that quote.

To be fair, he's not awesome yet.
Since pre-season games don’t count. I wouldn’t call Mike Morse awesome after his .400 hitting spring training. (And I would be wrong, since he IS awesome.)
True
Curry has to show it during the regular season.

Brian Russell
Because he isn’t playing for us anymore!
But as for active hawks I’ll go with the new guy – Aaron Curry with 7 Tackles, 3 sacks, 2 INT and 4 FF – After the game he firmly puts his Penis inside Fearless Frogs mouth for doubting him.
Hawks 38-3
PS – I really need to go see Nightman Cometh live!

What does Curry's junk have that Russell's brain doesn't?
I was always secretly attracted to Brian Russell’s brain. But seriously…

They had it here in NY the other day.
People on craigslist were scalping for 150, minimum. Jerks. I’m poor….
Forsett
comes in in the 4th quarter because we’re dominating too good and cuz we don’t want James or Jones getting hurt. Breakaway run or screen play for a touchdown.
5 touches, 68 yards, 1 TD
Final Score: Seahawks 38 – Rams 7
Glenn Beck likes argument, but has a deap-seated hatred for logic.
oh! Since we can pick the same Seahawk twice:
Hasselbeck for the win1one
325 yds
3 TD
Glenn Beck likes argument, but has a deap-seated hatred for logic.
You were actually quite close...
although, you failed to mention the 2 interceptions… lol.
I’m glad we won in such a way that I can laugh about 2 INT’s!!!!
Mancrushed. Jake Locker for Heisman 2010.
by Tyler Jorgensen on Sep 13, 2009 7:55 PM PDT up reply actions
Lol seriously!
He just got em out of the way early you know? At least he’s on track for more TDs than INTs :-P
Glenn Beck likes argument, but has a deap-seated hatred for logic.
Since Mebane is taken this week I'll go with:
Leroy Hill. 11 tackles (6 solo), 1 sack, 1 FF, many pressures.
Hawks win 27-13
Early prospect watch: RB C.J. Spiller, QB Jevan Snead, OT Ciron Black, DT Gerald McCoy, S Eric Berry, DT Ndamukong Suh, CB Ras-I Dowling 6'2, 200, RB Jonathan Dwyer
You can pick whomever you want!
Its your hawk!. No one is peeing on the hawk for taking them. Pee away
JSWO - Josh Scobey World Order 4 Life!
Co-Hawks then:
along w/ Leroy
Mebane: 6 tackles, 1 1/2 sacks, FF, 2 passes defended, mucho pressure looking like Kevin Williams incarnate.
Early prospect watch: RB C.J. Spiller, QB Jevan Snead, OT Ciron Black, DT Gerald McCoy, S Eric Berry, DT Ndamukong Suh, CB Ras-I Dowling 6'2, 200, RB Jonathan Dwyer
Olindo Mare.
Breaks the record by kicking 20 field goals, all from 50+ yards. Seahawks win 60-56.
I will smash your face into a jelly.

Deon Grant
finally playing where his skills suit. 3 passes defended, 3 tackles 1 INT.
Forgot to add score prediction
24-17 Seahawks who trailed 14-7 at HT.
TJ Houshmandzadeh
10 catches 131 yds, 1 TD. Hawks win 24-10.

This is a cool idea...
Colin Cole. 3 tackles, 44 times double teamed.
Tatupu and Mebane get the numbers because of it! :)
Seahawks 38-20.

Nice!
I’m working with my son, who is 14 months. So far, he somehow said Va-jay-jay to his mom (that got me in trouble). Have to work on the ‘Go Seahawks’.
(1) 2-3 Seahawks!
Early prospect watch: RB C.J. Spiller, QB Jevan Snead, OT Ciron Black, DT Gerald McCoy, S Eric Berry, DT Ndamukong Suh, CB Ras-I Dowling 6'2, 200, RB Jonathan Dwyer
Nate Burleson
5 rec 86 yrds 1 td
Seahawks 28
Rams 20
Dang that was a pretty close prediction.
He finished with 7 rec 74 yds 1 TD
Glenn Beck likes argument, but has a deap-seated hatred for logic.
Patrick Kerney
Abuses Alex Barron. Pokes him in the eye, too. 4 sacks.
Seahawks 31 Rams 10

4 tackles, 1 pass defended, 1 interception
Oh and seahawks win 31-10
And Brian Russell, 1 half-tackle, 8 whiffs, 67 times BURNED, 139 grits
The real heroes
I pick the OLine, 0 Sacks allowed, 3 Hurries, 180+ yards on the ground between JJ, Edge, Forsett
Hawks 27-3 (FYI the 3 comes in the fourth quarter with 7 minutes left from the red zone, making TMQ’s buck-buck-braaawck section)
that's original
a whole corps. i dig it
2/3 of the world is covered by water. The rest is covered by Marcus Trufant.
Rob Sims.
2 key blocks springing the RB for 20+ yard gains, 1 for a goalline TD.
I always used to think he was a bum but I’ve seen enough improvement to change my opinion.
"Part, fools!
Put up your swords. You know not what you do."
Julius Jones
A dominant defensive effort holds the lead early and Jones grinds the clock effectively.
145 yards 1TD
Hawks Win 24-10
Cory Redding
Commands his match-up allowing pressure to come from the LBs, helps out in run support to shut down Steven Jackson.
Hawks pick up a 27 – 13 victory.
Andrew Raycroft for backup? Does not compute.

Deion Branch
4 catches
30 yards
1 Fumble Lost
Matt Hasselbeck breaks in half, Patrick Kerney finally completely loses his entire arm, and Knapp can’t find an answer to Spagnuolo’s defensive schemes.
We lose 6-10.
Shortly thereafter, I jump off the St. John’s Bridge.

Leroy Hill
He’s always a forgotten man, but is very capable of delivering big games.
2 sacks, 1 FF, havoc in the backfield, 8 tackles 2 for loss.
Josh Wilson,
Led team in tackles (5) with 3 pass defensed (?) and 20 yards on his only return. Solid.
I'm gonna go calm submissive on your ass.
