I am again this year a huge supporter of Cortez Kennedy being inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. 'The Tez' was one of the most dominant defensive tackles to ever play the game. Cortez never quit, even on horrendous Seahawks teams, such as 1992's train-wreck of a squad. As many of you may have witnessed, Kennedy was often double and triple-teamed. He could not be blocked one-on-one. I strongly believe he should be a Hall of Famer. Hopefully he's part of the 2010 class, after being bypassed last year following a nomination. Kenny Easley should also receive consideration.

He should get in this year

Tez
Randle
Rice
Carter
Brown
Smith
Sharpe

There are a couple Bronco’s I’d like to see get enshrined in Atwater and Davis. Aeneas Williams should get in but he probably won’t on the first ballot.

Atwater and Davis, really?

I was (don’t kill me here) a big Broncos fan back in the Atwater/Davis days.

Atwater always struck me as a big hitter who wasn’t that good in coverage. Got burnt quite a bit. Overrated. Loved to watch him play, though.

As for Davis, yeah, the potential was there, but he didn’t really have enough good seasons to be considered for the Hall of Fame. He certainly had a few good seasons, though…

I didn't watch Atwater extensively but he was one of the few players I liked in the 90's

He certainly looks like a hall of famer on paper but I could easily be wrong.

Theres no doubt in my mind that Davis is a hall of famer. He didn’t have any good seasons, he had a four year stretch where he was as dominant as any running back ever and then 3 injury years. I think it’s silly to keep him out because he didn’t have the filler years.
