PrintThe 49ers rushing attack gets going early, as Seattle is clearly missing Brandon Mebane. The interior rush defense is sagging and Frank Gore is already flirting with breakout runs. He has 21 yards on four rushes between the tackles. Patrick Kerney put an end to the drive with a sack on Shaun Hill. Joe Nedney kicks from 37 to put the 49ers up by three, but points are less important than the composition of the drive. This is not a good start for the Seahawks.
