The Browns waived Peerman to make room for kicker Billy Cundiff, signed to replace kicker Phil Dawson who is out with a calf injury. He was claimed off waivers by the Browns on Sep 7th, and was expected to backup Jamal Lewis and James Davis. The injury to Dawson threw a wrinkle in Brown's plans and they had to make roster space for Cundiff. The Virgina RB was rated #8 by NFL Draft Scout. Ran a 4.34 at the combine. 5'10" and 216 lb.
