David Hawthorne Intercepts Pass
by John Morgan on Sep 27, 2009 1:30 PM PDT
Jay Cutler went low on Aaron Curry on an end around, for a called crackback block. That turned a 19 yard gain into a 15 yard penalty. A subsequent false start led to first and 30. But blown coverage by Travis Fisher results in a long conversion.
Then the kids got after it. Middle pressure by Brandon Mebane and edge pressure by Darryl Tapp pressure Cutler into a bad-idea lob that David Hawthorne caught for an interception.
