Louis Rankin Added to Practice Squad; Devin Moore Released
The Seattle Seahawks made a few roster moves on Tuesday, including signing former University of Washington running back Louis Rankin to their practice squad.
Running back Devin Moore and linebacker Thomas Williams were released from the practice squad, leaving the Seahawks with one open spot.
Very nice. He was great against us in the preseason, I definitely think he has more pro potential than Devin Moore, and probably more to offer at this point than Edge. Suit up, young man.

Did he actually get banned?
Or did people just tell to quit his bellyaching?

Not sure.
There was a ‘alright, that’s enough from you.’ from BrianL, then no more comments from him. So I think he’s in the box for some period of time. Probably not too long though. He wasn’t overly unreasonable since Curry didn’t look great in the first half.
The problem was
he just had nothing else to say. There’s a point at which “being concerned” turns into “concern trolling”.

He was banned for multiple instances of thread-jacking and general trollish behavior on front page posts.
That’s all that needs to be said, subthread closed.
In that particular instance, I'm not sure a response to someone saying Curry gets a game ball
in a game recap is thread-jacking, but yes I agree, best to just end the sub thread in this case here.
cool
And I forgot about the whole Knapp connection – so he a least has a heads up on the O, terminology and stuff.
Wonder what they’ve got up their sleeve for the open spot.

Looks like the Raiders had him at PR/KR
So I’m assuming he’ll try out for this for us too.
Hopefully he does well.

Walt has lingering knee pain and hasn't been able to participate fully in practice
Lock’s probably close to a month from being ready and Frye seems to be a little banged up from last week.

I assume Rankin doesn't have kitten paws
and is therefore a better prospect than Peerman. And he did play well in pre-season during one game anyway. I’m happy they are doing something, anything, to address the multiple injuries. Still, the prospect of Goddard or DeLaPuente starting at left tackle makes me grimace.
Indeed
and I’m starting to wonder whether we’ll ever see Walt again. Outside of Walt, we have a young O-line, so I don’t get all the injuries. It’s part of the game, but why are we experiencing more than our share for the second consecutive season.
