San Francisco 49ers Sign Tony Pashos
Pashos is a big, slow mauler that gets by with long arms and meanness. Think Willis. He should make for an interesting matchup against Cory Redding should Pashos start.

He won't start right away (at least I don't think)
But he could take over at RT eventually, perhaps by week 6 or 8. This of course assumes everyone is healthy, otherwise he’d obviously be playing earlier.

Good for you guys
Bad for us. I was hoping that the Hawks would get him as depth…

Yeah
We need O-line depth desperately, even more than you guys do. That’s probably why he picked the Niners, it’s his best chance to play.

Seahawks "desperate for offensive line depth"?
I don’t think so. Assuming Walter is back in a few weeks, as planned, then we may be as deep at offensive tackle as any team in the league, with three players ready to start. Locklear may then have to fight for a spot at RG and may not win that position or his old position at RT either. And with Vallos and Unger behind Spencer at C, I don’t see how we are not a deep offensive line.

That's not a small assumption.
When it comes to Big Walt, I’m doing the whole “hope for the best, plan for the worst” thing.

Three players at tackle isn't a lot of depth
And we can’t depend on a healthy Walt anymore.
Brett Favre is the Kenny Powers of football.

Deep doesn't always mean 'good', either.
I think our line is suspect until proven otherwise. I’m hopeful, but not confident – yet.
Early prospect watch: RB C.J. Spiller, QB Jevan Snead, OT Ciron Black, DT Gerald McCoy, S Eric Berry, DT Ndamukong Suh, CB Ras-I Dowling 6'2, 200, RB Jonathan Dwyer

I didn't mean that you guys were desperate
But I thought you at least had a need there because of the injuries.

At this time I'd like to now give the 49ers Offensive Line Roundtable another look:
This signing clearly upgrades this unit to an indisputable, unequivocal grade of: ‘A’.

"Interesting" bad for us or "Interesting" good for us?
The demise of the Broncos in '09 is our future. Pray hard.

"Interesting" interesting
to see how it plays out and who wins, I would think.
