I realize that but I thought one of the reasons we released Russell was to move Grant to FS?
If we end up starting Babs at FS and Grant at SS, doesn’t that nearly make the release of Russell moot?

No, because Babs isn't anywhere near as horrible as Russell.
It wasn’t so much Grant being involved in a lot of SS duties last season as it was Russell being terrible at FS stuff.
