Tennessee Titans at Seattle Seahawks - Game Thread

Tennessee Titans at Seattle Seahawks, Jan 3, 2010 1:15 PM PST

However foolish, I can't pull for a loss. And if Seattle does win, that will suck too. Welcome to the end of your 2009-2010 regular season, Seahawks fans. Every contingency is booby trapped. Behind a surprise victory is a punji pit. A loss, a Bouncing Betty already underfoot. It's spikes or shards and either way, the season dies a merciful death.

CHIEFS!

CHIEFS!

CHIEFS!

My dream

Rams take Clausen with the first pick
Seattle trade up and get Suh
Suh spends the next 3 years single handedly destroying Clausen’s Rams career (along with every other QB we face)

by JamesMurphy on Jan 3, 2010 2:43 PM PST reply actions

Dream bigger.

Both players slip to the Hawks.

by abender20 on Jan 3, 2010 2:44 PM PST up reply actions   1 recs

As does Spiller and several quality lineman on both sides of the ball.

Seattle drafts five first-round talents and Suh runs for 2000 yards next year while Spiller leads the league in picks returned for TDs. He also serves fresh lemonade to fans during TV timeouts.

by abender20 on Jan 3, 2010 2:45 PM PST up reply actions

He's a college quarterback.

God the similarities are uncanny.

He's from Notre Dame, too.

And his stock seems to be inflated just because he’s from Notre Dame.

I’d rather wait for the second round and see what QB talent shakes out there than spend one of our first-rounders on a crapshoot.

I'm asking what veteran QB do we want while a rookie develops.

maybe I'm just old school. I cringe when I think of a rookie QB on the field.

I'm shocked there were 6 teams worse than us

either with this same O line at 5-11

So why would you be afraid of a rookie quarterback

This team probably isn’t going to be very good next year either way.

by Nate Dogg on Jan 3, 2010 4:45 PM PST up reply actions

you might be right

I’ve been watching Matt for so long praying for his arm to come back I don’t know what to think right now. His passes looked crisper today. Much. But his O line still sucked and I’m not sure what to think. I know I want to draft a QB, that’s all.

So.

Walter Jones last play was getting beat by Ware and Matt’s (potential) last throw is an INT. They never go out the way you want them to.

Officially: draft picks are 7 and 14 w/ a Denver loss

The demise of the Broncos in '09 is our future. Pray hard.

Wow, that's a lot of room to move around.

I am not going to be able to wait for draft day.

Eh whatever.

I’m still doing backflips over that trade.

yet better than most of our predictions. Unfuckingreal.

I think I said something to the effect of:

10-6 but 4-12 would not surprise me at all. In my head, either Hasselbeck was healthy and we won or he wasn’t and we didn’t.
