Tennessee Titans at Seattle Seahawks - Game Thread
Tennessee Titans at Seattle Seahawks, Jan 3, 2010 1:15 PM PST
However foolish, I can't pull for a loss. And if Seattle does win, that will suck too. Welcome to the end of your 2009-2010 regular season, Seahawks fans. Every contingency is booby trapped. Behind a surprise victory is a punji pit. A loss, a Bouncing Betty already underfoot. It's spikes or shards and either way, the season dies a merciful death.

My dream
Rams take Clausen with the first pick
Seattle trade up and get Suh
Suh spends the next 3 years single handedly destroying Clausen’s Rams career (along with every other QB we face)
Dream bigger.
Both players slip to the Hawks.
by abender20 on Jan 3, 2010 2:44 PM PST up reply actions 1 recs
As does Spiller and several quality lineman on both sides of the ball.
Seattle drafts five first-round talents and Suh runs for 2000 yards next year while Spiller leads the league in picks returned for TDs. He also serves fresh lemonade to fans during TV timeouts.
I will stand by lots of losing
But I hope we aren’t dumb enough to draft Clausen
Unless you mean he slips to our Fourth round pick
Clausen is likely the best QB prospect in this draft.
I don’t care that he looks like a Geico commercial or went to ND or maybe is a pretty boy.
These comparisons never get tired.
I look at [QB prospect] and see [Mirer/Leaf/McGwire]
I look at Classen and see a player who ran a pro-style offense and has good pocket awareness.
I don’t think he’s going to be Peyton Manning, but I think he’ll be good and that’s worth taking in the top 15.
He also throws side arm and a big chunck of his stats are thanks to Golden Tate
Who is insanely good
Suh is a crazy prospect
But so was Glen Dorsey…
Hey - don't knock Glenn Dorsey

Butler Has to work on that
That’s like 3 back shoulder throws that I think Butler should have had this year.
Hey lets go easy on Carlson
He only gets targeted three times a year.
Must have come as a surprise.
His last throw as a Seahawk an INT.

I was way too optimistic on Hasselbeck this year.
I thought he might have some aches and pains, but would give the team 12 slightly below average starts.
I think I said something to the effect of:
10-6 but 4-12 would not surprise me at all. In my head, either Hasselbeck was healthy and we won or he wasn’t and we didn’t.
