That is awesome. Smith is now one of my favorite players, not only for that but for waiting until he was on the Lions to be good. Best move Ruskell ever made.

What's not to get?

Smith is awesome because:
1. Carlton dance.
2. Getting us the 14th overall pick.
3. Sucking for the team that gave us said pick, but suddenly being good when he’s traded.

I do find saying that somehow Smith represents Ruskell best ever move is indeed shortsided and a bit narrow. If one choses to see it as such, then to that I say we are all entitled to our opinions.

I was exaggerating. For what it's worth.

Basically acknowledging that everything about that move has worked out so far in almsot the best possible way up til now. Great move at the time but he gift that keeps on giving.
