On the one hand, the Bears look just short of awful.
On the other, the Seahawks do not.

True or False: Cutler throws two picks in the second half.
Seriously, he’s due.

If Seattle

Wow, Cutler is 10-23 today!
10-24 after that ball.
This is the most impressive Seahawks game I've seen since 2005.
With our struggles on the road and knowing where we are in our rebuilding process, these Seahawks are going to some very good things while Pete Carroll is at the helm. He understands the concept of improving each day be it in transaction form or something in the film room, practice etc. In addition to that he has a full awareness of his roster and it’s strengths and weaknesses and he’s surrounding them with an excellent group of equally aware coordinators and assistants. We are far from the most talented roster in the NFL, but our coaching staff is near the top of the league in their ability to put our team in position to make the play.
A coaching staff that’s about the process, not necessarily the end result is an excellent sign for future success. Simple concepts, but for whatever reason a rare ability. I have full confidence that we’ll see a return to the Super Bowl under Carroll’s watch.
This a game thread.
Might want to keep your comments short if you are expecting people to read them.
I guess he figured he should block the inside man.

Not sure what was better.... the last second of the NYG/DET game,
or hearing that the Rams beat St. Louis. Hard to shake a losing stigma, what?

Two 1-3 teams is your “America’s Game of the Week?” Fuck you. I want both teams to lose.

A tie would be magnificent
But I prefer if Dallas loses.
I prefer seeing the Vikes lose
Their collapse is magnificent.

I think it's pre-scheduled and that was a pretty good looking game before the season.
But yeah, fuck that game.

Huge Win today
Not only did they win the game on the road, but they won following a bye win. I can’t wait to see more of Thunder and Lightning in the backfield. Go Seahawks!
Beautiful.
Though they sink through the Sea, they shall rise again...Death shall have no dominion...
Well, we basically had to recover the onside kick to win, and onsides have like an 80% failure rate?
Add in that they would need to recover + score, it seems about right. But it ‘felt’ like a much bigger blow.
by SgtSasquatch on Oct 17, 2010 1:33 PM PDT up reply actions
Well, in a way it was a big blow.
If you think in percentage terms, just judging from the chart, we went from about 99% to about 92%. Our chances of losing increased by 800%.
by It's Good To Be King on Oct 17, 2010 1:37 PM PDT up reply actions
I agreed about it feeling like a big blow, but I totally understand why our win probability was still so high is what I'm saying.
As soon as I saw Ryan get de-cleated I thought “Here we go again…” myself.

Looks like he had some trouble with stunts.
But I’m guessing he’ll get better at that in time.
Who's name did we not here today?
Peppers. They only showed his sucking wind.
Okung wore his ass out. That’s a hell of a start for him.
What a shite throw by Sanchez.

Amazing job by the defense on third down today. The Bears failed to convert on all 12 of their third down conversion opportunities.

I thought that this had the potential to go really poorly. We didn’t really know what to expect out of Okung. Was so nice to see.
