From Seahawks.com Friday in Hawkville.
First-round draft choice Russell Okung completed his third consecutive practice at left tackle with the No. 1 offensive line and is ready to play against the Rams.
“Russell did a very good job this week,” Carroll said. “We’ll see how this day affects him and we’ll get all the way to game time to make a decision (on whether he’s ready to play an entire game). But he did a terrific job this week. I was really thrilled that he was able to get all the work that he did.”
Locklear got a few reps on Wednesday but has not practiced the past two days. Tyler Polumbus has been working on the right side in his absence, after starting the first three games at left tackle because Okung was out.
“That’s a great bonus for us; that Tyler can play on both sides,” Carroll said. “He’s really shown his valuable right off the mark here early in the season.”
