Heard the Seahawks are looking for a LEO?
If you get a chance on Saturday, keep an eye on Missouri redshirt SO Aldon Smith. This is a highlight package versus a dreadful Colorado team last season in Boulder. Smith lines up at DE and tackle on obvious passing downs. You can see from the video that he's built like a basketball player. He seems to have a body well-suited to a LEO.
If you saw Missouri/Oklahoma, he got the big interception on the Landry Jones screen pass. That was his first game back after a fractured fibula. Missouri moves him around and drops him in coverage from time-to-time. He also seems like a solid kid with a good head on his shoulders.

I watch Mizzou whenever I can
but had forgotten that he’s a redshirt SO, and thus eligible for the draft. I don’t know for sure he’ll come out, but I think he has a good bit of buzz.

This weekend's Nebraska/Mizzou matchup should have a decent amount of talent to scope
Nebraska
CBs – Prince Amukamara, Alfonzo Denard
LB – Lavonte David
DT – Jared Crick
DT – Baker Steinkuhler
Honestly, I’m not enamored of any Husker offensive players other than WR Niles Paul. I haven’t seen them play this year much.
Missouri
(not a lot of prospects, but it’s because MU is still super young)
QB – Blaine Gabbert (really like this kid, but he needs another year)
OT – Elvis Fisher (started as a frosh; rarely hear his name called, in a good way)
CB – Carl Gettis (Missouri plays a lot of man press coverage)
DE – Aldon Smith (best player on the team)

are the hawks actually looking for a LEO?
I thought this position only developed because we lacked a true DE on this roster. Are we going to revert back to a more normal 4-3 after this season or are we sticking with this scheme?
I like him
He looks the part. Part of me is still hoping for Robert Quinn but, yeah. Good catch, I’ll have to pay closer attention to this dude.
Earl Thomas = God-send
