Love to watch the Skins/Eagles...
…but my GF is giving me the “quality time” face.
It appears the Jags are playing the Colts
It will be a blowout.
Bandwagon leader for Michael Robinson as Seattle Seahawks starting QB.
Jags have looked horrific
But MoJo has always played well against the Colts

Bengals lose
Screw Palmer’s contract extension, they absolutely have to draft a QB next year.
Bandwagon leader for Michael Robinson as Seattle Seahawks starting QB.
I wonder if Bengals boards are as divisive.
Do they have anyone else they could go to?
Isn't he only like 30 still?
I don’t know how he dropped off the cliff so fast.
Is that the light at the end of the tunnel, or the headlights of an oncoming train?
Serious injury can do that to you.
Bandwagon leader for Michael Robinson as Seattle Seahawks starting QB.
Pittsburgh really got lucky
Palmer goes out so they beat Cincy.
Nick Harper gets tripped up by his shoelace.
Jake Plummer.
Damn I think any other team in the AFC in Detroit except Pittsburgh and we win the Super Bowl.

In an alternate universe
That never happens and the ’Hawks beat the Bengals in SB XLIII

And all the Bengals fans are blaming the line

The Bills are going 0-16.
I’m calling it.

Haloti Ngata leads Baltimore with 11 tackles today
Can’t remember the last time I saw a defensive end lead a team in tackles
Ngata is a badass.
Is that the light at the end of the tunnel, or the headlights of an oncoming train?
3 plays, 3 passes
I love you Reid
Bandwagon leader for Michael Robinson as Seattle Seahawks starting QB.
On the plus side.
We don’t have to watch a Mora Jr. press conference telling us which players sucked and blew the game for us.
Mare had two bad misses
I’m not justifying Mora’s douchiness, but Mare played below his abilities that game.

Seneca Wallace played below even his abilities
We shouldn’t have been kicking field goals.
Bandwagon leader for Michael Robinson as Seattle Seahawks starting QB.
You know -- midget qualities.
Bandwagon leader for Michael Robinson as Seattle Seahawks starting QB.
Kickers miss field goals.
You can’t call them out every time it happens. It doesn’t make them less likely to miss.
Definitely
I was a bad move to call him out (and I think its probably worse to call out a kicker than other players).
by Greetings from the Lord Humongous! on Oct 3, 2010 1:37 PM PDT up reply actions
I thought he went on a tear after that.
(I wasn’t insinuating that it worked).
Good results,
bad process?
by Greetings from the Lord Humongous! on Oct 3, 2010 1:46 PM PDT up reply actions
He didn't miss after that.
But no way does Mora get credit for him being accurate. He’s always been accurate, he just had a bad day.
Almost certainly
and it’s been studied. Calling someone out after a bad performance only results in better performance because better performance is normal following particularly poor performance.
POW!
Right in the kisser.

Underwhelming opening 4 weeks
Lots of sloppy football.
Bandwagon leader for Michael Robinson as Seattle Seahawks starting QB.
I did some sort of radio spot just a second ago.
Northwest Cable News. Anyone in the area help me know exactly who I was talking to?
They probably just showed a file photo of you in the corner while you were speaking.
Might want to send a new one in, though.

I did an interview in studio down at Portland that they edited into a segment.
I’ve never seen it, but after that I was asked to do weekly after game stuff. This was the first time I was actually called though.
I think I've been pigeonholed as the voice of criticism
Which is funny, because I go out of my way to put a positive spin on almost everything I write.
Which is pretty hilarious in itself, given the #6org meme.
Is that the light at the end of the tunnel, or the headlights of an oncoming train?
And by "like" I mean it makes me want to blow up a hospital.
Unfortunately that’s Robert’s domain.
It's weird how Fangraphs has some of the smartest baseball writers around yet attracts some of the most retarded commenters around.
Is that the light at the end of the tunnel, or the headlights of an oncoming train?
I love it when there's a post that mentions tRA or FIP or wOBA a dozen times
and the first comment out the chute references ERA and batting average.
It's all about moderating the community.
It’s a worthy pursuit if easily the worst part of the job.
I love to write. I could write every second of every day, but without an awesome community to write for, I might as well quit and start writing another book.
Part of the problem at FG is there's really no way to moderate.
Best they’ve got is a Digg-esque upvote/downvote system.
Not that I know of.
As far as I know there’s no actual login/account procedure to be able to comment over there, which hey, that’s something even the Seattle Times blogs have now.
I don't really get Dave Appleman's stubborness about moderating the comments.
All he’s done is that half-assed vote system, which works as well as Youtube’s thing does.
Is that the light at the end of the tunnel, or the headlights of an oncoming train?
And no one even metions that Dave picked Texas to win the west.
Yet, it seems like mostly Ranger fans who bring up the 6org thing.
They were ranked in top 5, right?
Is that the light at the end of the tunnel, or the headlights of an oncoming train?
Yeah, he picked the M's to win 78-80 games and did a shitload of hedging on our chances.
Is that the light at the end of the tunnel, or the headlights of an oncoming train?
What the hell? They're making Portis look like god.
Bandwagon leader for Michael Robinson as Seattle Seahawks starting QB.
AHAHAHAHAAHA!!!
I love McNabb.
Bandwagon leader for Michael Robinson as Seattle Seahawks starting QB.
Eagles have a defense?
This is the same skins that got torched by the rams last week. Could the rams be for real?
Jim Johnson was a defensive genius
McDermott seems like a dunderhead.

Why are the hits so loud?
Are the sidelines or players mic’d up?

I've worked at Pizza Hut. When that guy says "this isn't just a pizza"
They aren’t kidding. And you don’t want to know the details.
Funny, I'm eating Pizza Hut right now.
Hardly “pizza”, but I don’t mind it. And their wings are pretty damn good.

Even more so knowing that he was on the open market for a bag of balls.
People I miss
Tapp, Pistol, Housh, 2005 Hasselbeck.
Bandwagon leader for Michael Robinson as Seattle Seahawks starting QB.
And I don't buy into the arguments that he was good because he had forever and a half in the pocket.
He could sling a good throw and really knew how to exploit the hell out of his system.

I really like LeSean McCoy.
Is that the light at the end of the tunnel, or the headlights of an oncoming train?
McCoy and Robinson
They do not mix. Supposedly McCoy picked a fight with Robinson on his visit to Penn State…Penn State dropped his Scholarship offer, and he went to Pitt
Even if we can't enjoy our own win
It feels good to gloat about the failure of our division rivals.

He's also a rookie UDFA
Its very, very likely that he won’t be good.
by Greetings from the Lord Humongous! on Oct 3, 2010 2:36 PM PDT up reply actions
Moon had a pretty lousy rookie year
Most QBs play lousy in their rookie year. Most QBs that end up in the league don’t have successful careers. The likelihood of a rookie UDFA to perform well is very low (but not impossible).

Wow, a coach with the cajones to make a change to try to find a spark
Go Arizona!
It is what it is...
Well, if we hadn't traded for Whitehurst, he'd be starting for them now.
But I’m glad we did, because Hass is looking like a punch drunk boxer right now and I be surprised if he lasts past game 8 or 10.
Delay of game after a timeout?
What a fail.

Officially sick of the "Earn Everything" Seahawks ads.
What did they earn today? A week of three-a-days?
True or false - Jim Caldwell is basically another Barry Switzer.
Bandwagon leader for Michael Robinson as Seattle Seahawks starting QB.
The Colts should just let fans coach the team every week.
Send in your video online to be this weeks Colts head coach!
Has Philly thrown a pass over 10 yards?
49ers/Eagles on SNF next week could be tragic.
Bandwagon leader for Michael Robinson as Seattle Seahawks starting QB.
And ... fumble
I expected the Redskins to win this. What a difference a quarterback makes for the Redskins.
I wonder if any fantasy players out there just pick the Colts entire receiving corp
Bandwagon leader for Michael Robinson as Seattle Seahawks starting QB.
The Raiders are getting blown out
Yet I feel Oakland could be respectable this year.
Bandwagon leader for Michael Robinson as Seattle Seahawks starting QB.
I thought the defense would be good
and that McFadden would break through out from under JaMarcus. The defense hasn’t satisfied their end.
NFC East and West look hapless.
Bandwagon leader for Michael Robinson as Seattle Seahawks starting QB.
It'll be very concerning if Seattle doesn't comfortably beat Arizona at home
So many teams, so few QBs to choose in the first.

Way to drop the winning INT, Jags.
Bandwagon leader for Michael Robinson as Seattle Seahawks starting QB.

The NFC West conjured up a grand total of 3 offensive touchdowns today.
Sad.
Bandwagon leader for Michael Robinson as Seattle Seahawks starting QB.
Redskins called two timeouts in opening 93 seconds of the half
Yet the Eagles are the ones without timeouts.
Bandwagon leader for Michael Robinson as Seattle Seahawks starting QB.
Funny, the Eagles
they get what every team wants, a franchise quarterback that should age gracefully. And they trade him. I wonder if anyone in Eagles country was screaming bloody murder when that went down.
I think they would've been fine if they hadn't traded within the division
Fans think Reid is on the hot seat this year.
Bandwagon leader for Michael Robinson as Seattle Seahawks starting QB.
They were screaming for a new QB when he was drafted
I’m sorry, but I have no respect for Iggles fans vis-a-vis McNabb.
by Thomas Beekers on Oct 3, 2010 4:10 PM PDT up reply actions
He settled in for a good run with the fans.
But yeah, they never really knew what they had. They were only a contender every forking year.
They have to wonder if Reid is the problem and not McNabb
Andy outthinks himself every time it’s a big playoff game.
Bandwagon leader for Michael Robinson as Seattle Seahawks starting QB.
Seems like most Seahawks fan are not pulling for a new quarterback
but I do agree that Eagles fans have blamed McNabb for everything ever including Nagasaki.
