Screw this, who wants to see USC/Stanford?
As much as I’ll enjoy watching USC lose by 31 I much prefer meaningful football.

Sure you do
But you’re a curse on QBs so now I wonder if Stanford might stumble.

I admit it, I really dislike Alabama
that was the cheapest National Title victory I have ever watched.
I was rooting for Texas hard
Then McCoy got injured and Alabama won by default.
Michael Robinson leads the Seahawks in completion percentage, yards-per-attempt, and QB rating.
I wasn't rooting one way or the other
but that injury ruined the game.
…and then I watched that game like five more times.
McElroy is a winner.
Therefore, he is a good QB.
That’s what I’ve heard about Tebow.
Michael Robinson leads the Seahawks in completion percentage, yards-per-attempt, and QB rating.
Except Tebow actually did things to help his college teams win.
McElroy just hangs out while Saban lets other college QBs kill their own team.

You kind of have to appreciate how long he's ridden the success of his Superbowl is Gay song though.
Fake field goal insanity!
That play might have had a chance if it didn’t involve a no look over the head flip from the holder.
Welp I think Bama has this one in the bag.

That was a pretty embarrassing first half for UCLA
I don’t know what to make of that team, they alternately impress and then depress.
It's a tough league to crack.
Depending on where he lands he’ll have to earn playing time away from the likes of Tatum Bell or Maurice Clarett.
The meltdown was on when they didn't run the clock out at the end of the first half

It's strange how somebody like Albert Haynesworth is so hated by other players,
fans, the media, etc., yet in the past few days people forget about how much of a jerk he is on the field because of his brother.
Ahh, I do too.
But I just dislike SEC schools, especially when they are #1. And I have a good bud who is a Cock. (literally, he is a walking/talking penis).
Terrelle Pryor is going to win the Heisman
and Im probably only going to have watched him play once this year.

Oregon has not played well in the 1st quarter all year.
Why start now
Stick a fork in him - HE IS THROUGH
So if South Carolina pulls this out.
Will they jump into the #1 spot
Stick a fork in him - HE IS THROUGH
No despite them being in the SEC
I wonder if they will leap frog Arkansas though since Arkansas is likely back in the top 1 this week.

he's a big dude too...
Schneider likes himself big receivers
schneider loves the big guys
I don’t see why he doesn’t just pick up the NBA rejects and call it a good day.

He's had a great game. Great on jump balls.
If effective fade patterns and deep balls weren’t outlawed in the Pacific Northwest, I’d say Hawks could use this kid.
He's shredding college football, his worst performance this year was a five catch 97 yard game.
And he’s doing it with Stephen Garcia at quarterback.
How likely is it that the Seahawks draft a corner in the first round this year?
We have Thurmond but he’s still a risk. Plus Tru is getting older.
If the QB's they like are gone I'd say quite high
and it’s a fairly big need.
It all depends on what the FO wants to do with the QB position
There are a lot of wholes in this team. Next year is supposed to be pretty deep for CBs and WRs, though.

Like obviously I would love if we could draft Amukamara, but we'd probably
have to finish pretty low to get him.
A defensive end is a possibility, too.
I think. Though, they’ll probably take a 6’8", 265 pound wideout who runs a 4 second 40. There’s one of those somewhere, right?
Welcome to losing, Greg.
Michael Robinson leads the Seahawks in completion percentage, yards-per-attempt, and QB rating.
Alabama losing makes Oregon and Michigan State winning even sweeter.
WOOOOOOO CAN I PICK EM
Now, about those Seahawks.
may as well pull McElroy
before he gets destroyed
SEC normally does not allow that

they took the field goals down
never seen that before… good idea though

This is going to completely backfire.
If Boise State makes it they will be held up as proof that the system works and no changes are needed. Why do we need a playoff system when anyone can make the National Championship game!
Are the huskies going to be put on?
I’ve got FSN on and they’re showing CU getting their asses handed to them by Mizzou. How about going local, eh?!?
Is there an alternative channel???
Bird Law in this country isn't governed by reason.
They just switched over...
and went immediately to a “technical difficulties” screen, then back to the CU game.
Jesus. Get your freakin’ acts together here, FSN.

As a UW alumni...
I want Nick Holt’s head NOW, I better not have to watch his absolutely atrocious play calling next year .
You can't build a castle on sand.
2 drives, no resistance...
Our defense looks horribly coached, no pass rush, and our D-Line continues to get manhandled and out-muscled.

UW has truly horribe offensive and defensive lines
It’s amazing they ever have any success at all given how pathetic they are. Half the time Locker or the RB’s don’t get anything done because guys are way into the backfield right after the snap. On D, the line gets NO pressure, and gets pushed around easily. Until they get some talent on the lines, that team is going to be meh, no matter what talent they have at the “skill” positions.
Nick Holt's not gonna last the season
But god Washington is talent poor.
Michael Robinson leads the Seahawks in completion percentage, yards-per-attempt, and QB rating.
Refs helped him out a little
but the USC defense is just awful right now unfortunately.

Which is so seriously awesome!
I hope we are "Luck"y in the draft coming up! Hope he declares, hope we are in a position to get him.
by BlueThruAndThru on Oct 9, 2010 8:52 PM PDT up reply actions
It's too bad Jake has not had much talent around him.
It’s hard to develop fully when your o-line sucks that bad, when your receivers have the dropsies constantly, and when your running game lacks both size and anywhere to go due to the o-line. I think he has progressedd enough to be considered a decent talent for the NFL, but he’s still not where Luck or Mallet or several other prospects are, mainly because he has the least talent around him to work with, so fewer snaps due to short drives. Fewer potentially successful situations for him to work through to get ready for the pro game.
by BlueThruAndThru on Oct 9, 2010 8:56 PM PDT up reply actions
While Jake may not be as developed,
his ceiling warrants us to draft him over Luck or Mallet. The Seahawks are still a couple years from being true superbowl contenders. This could possibly allow Locker to sit a couple years and develop the tools to be a great QB. He also could be a bust haha. But still, I’m willing to sell the farm for our hometown boy. Plus.. I go to Cal so fuck Stanfurd and Luck
Locker might have the best receivers and running backs in the Pac10
The offensive line is terrible though, no doubt about that.
I will feel better as soon as we have a quarterback of the future in place
regardless of whether it is Luck or Locker. I’d be excited for either.

I don't see how it is seriously awesome
It actually kind of blows
To improve, they should try to become the musical southern cal of the west. - bRuins Nation poster on the Stanford band.
decent, but his o-line has sucked so bad, he's had few opportunities.
He’s been sacked quickly multiple times, and then massive penetration by the d-line when he’s tried to run, so caught behind the line of scrimmage. Receivers have also dropped several key passes. I would say he looks good, just with no talent on the line helping him out to make big plays tonight.
by BlueThruAndThru on Oct 9, 2010 8:48 PM PDT up reply actions
School sucks
I wish to just enjoy watching Locker run around the field, but EC 314U just isn’t having it.
This isn't fair
Locker is basically going through 4 seasons of having the most pathetic offense and defensive lines I’ve seen.
Please fire Nick Holt and can the ST coach.
Michael Robinson leads the Seahawks in completion percentage, yards-per-attempt, and QB rating.
No, but he could learn how to call a game
Match scheme to the personnel he has, not try to force players to do what they can’t. He can’t just yell and expect to change their DNA
You can't build a castle on sand.
By that logic a coach making a billion dollars should be able to make me a good linebacker.
It just doesn’t work that way, Holt needs division one players.
No
My logic is he should be able to figure something out if his brain is worth the money. Im in agreement we dont have talent, and I stated before you cant yell and change DNA. Div-1 talent or not, too many times this year where u can point out coaching errors, not talent errors.
You can't build a castle on sand.
They probably will get 4.
Hammer Wazzu + beat either UCLA or Cal.

Think it's time to bench Kearse
He’s just not good enough to play WR.

It sure is nice
to see the Sun Devils actually FINISH a game for once. Of course, the downside is that if Erickson can stave off a complete disaster of a season, we get farther away from my Mike Leach dream that I’m clinging to right now.
