Mitch Mustain In

Update: No free lunch.

...

Mitch Mustain is a former five star recruit. He will declare for the 2011 draft. Interested to see if he's worth a damn.

And holy crap has Lane Kiffin surpassed Jim L. Mora?

I agree

It looked like the receiver intentionally pinned the arm of the defender to draw the call.

Someone told me they were remaking it and I called bullshit on it being any good.

Then I watched the trailer and realized I was a liar.

It’s still no ’Cowboys & Aliens" though.

by DJ C-Raig on Nov 20, 2010 10:20 PM PST up reply actions

The fanboys will be after you if you call it a remake.

Apparently one of the Coens read the book and realized the John Wayne version (are you sitting down?) varied quite a bit from the novel. This is “a whole new adaptation”.

Just think of me as your Josh Lyman, priming you on the talking points.

Cake for me too, please.

I'll buy that. Although the Coens are starting to annoy me the way Tarantino annoys me.

But Coen homers should probably watch out, ‘cause now they’re fucking with The Duke, and that guy’s fans carry lever-action rifles and shit.

C.J. primed 'em on talking points.

I’m an aspiring writer, and I worship Sorkin. Josh would just tell you how True Grit is going to impact the legalization of murder and the cessation of the western territories.

You're right, and thanks.

But I don’t want to be C.J., as much as I love her. Sorkin’s great.

Cake for me too, please.

pass looks like a wounded duck

and why does BMW back hand it? Was his other arm being held?

You've never heard that statement then?

It’s actually a moderately commonly used idiom.

I've got it tied to a hotkey

Speaking of which, The Human Centipede is now on Netflix on-demand.

I can't wait for the second one!

No seriously, look it up. He’s making a 2.

Human Centipede, pfft.

Try “Antichrist”. I kept going “nah, they’re not going there… oops, there it is”.

I've never heard that.

Why does a dog lick his own schwanz? Because he can. Now that I’ve heard a million times.

I find this hillariously funny.

Probably because I’m studying for a physics final right now.

Awesome awesome awesooooome!

This isn’t even what people think of as “one-handed catch.” Most one-handed catchs are the receiver tipping or guiding the ball into their stomach or other hand. Mike Williams either literally grabs this thing or has just enough grip to redirect this thing’s motion completely. And that’s not a floater of a ball or anything. Utterly amazing.

This wooden soul of mine, it cannot ever climb from places it has fallen: In between where light can shine. It never falls in line, it barely has a spine, like branches severed from the vine. Like it was faulty by design.

Thank you!

Where was this replay on FOX? I missed the live play but saw every subsequent replay and none of them showed the catch. That is beautiful.

OOOOOH!!!!! That was NASTY!!!!!!!!

Here is the weird thing

Salk was saying that on the radio as well, but I took it directly from the TV broadcast that was uploaded. I wonder if the broadcast was different in the Seattle area, although that seems unlikely. I can’t remember if I saw the replay or not when I was watching it on cable because I might have hit rewind on the DVR to see it multiple times. The broadcast I have has 2 replays although the second replay kind of sucks. This one is from the first replay.

by bigtrain21 on Nov 21, 2010 12:19 PM PST up reply actions

That ends it

Wow.

I don’t know if it’s Lane or Pete’s absence, but wow.

Pete left the cupboard bare

USC has been playing with about 45 scholarship players for most of the season.

To improve, they should try to become the musical southern cal of the west. - bRuins Nation poster on the Stanford band.

No one would give up football to replace their headlights

They would do it in the ten minutes or so it takes during halftime or something.
