I'm stuck today with a busy day at work, so I don't have the time to go hunting for the raw data that I need so I'm putting out a call to the smartest football community on the web to show me the mecca of numbers that I seek.
I've got it in my head to do a short bayesian analysis of our goal-to-go offensive statistics, but I can't do that without the data. Does anybody either have, or know where I can find (free or subscription) the outcome of non-preseason goal-to-go drives for the last 5-10 seasons? Extra bonus points if the play descriptor is included.
If I can get this data, I promise the gulls an interesting breakdown of how bayesian statistics and can show really cool confidence breakdowns with small sample sizes.
