Hawks Offensive Line Ranks 31st in Adjusted Line Yards
It appears that the O Line has been of no help to either Forsett or Lynch. For almost every play that Marshawn screws over I can think of another when he has had to fight off tacklers to get back to the line of scrimmage.
Conversely, four of the Hawks' opponents already played rank in the top 10 for Offensive Line Ranks. A further two are in the top 15.

Interesting, but I'm not sure that the bit about opponents' OL means much
The average team would face opponents in the top third of teams about one third of the time (approx 4 out of 11 times). Likewise, you’d expect that about half of the teams you face would be in the top half of teams (all things being equal, about 6/11).

Ahh, was wondering why you never quoted them.
Too many variables? I do agree with your view that you cannot statistically analyze football like baseball.
The formula seems half smart.
It says, this portion of the field is influenced by the O-line this much. This portion is influenced this much. More Football Focus than Football Outsiders.
