Merry Christmas guys! Have a good one! (Well Christmas is finished Down Under 0_o)
ANYWAY how are the Cards winning against the Cowboys 14-0?
You sir, are an omnipotent juicebox.
Ahh Kitna...
2 Pick 6’s in the 1st Quarter. Not done since the 99 Pats. NFC WEST GOGOGOGOGO
You sir, are an omnipotent juicebox.
Merry Christmas everyone!
Although Dallas is down 0-14, I think they still win this game. That is, if Kitna can stop completing passes to the Cardinals.

There's only been one that wasn't a blow out so far
To improve, they should try to become the musical southern cal of the west. - bRuins Nation poster on the Stanford band.
Aaaaaaaand it's 21-3
12 minutes from halftime.

So, uh...
I dropped AZ’s defense to pick up and start Dallas’ defense… in the championship game…
Oh theory, you fickle whore.
Earl Thomas = God-send
I dropped Arizona's defense for Oakland's defense
I’m playing in the Consolation Bracket Title Game.

Arizona has more return touchdowns (Kick, Punt, Fumble, INT) than passing touchdowns

R.I.P Jon Kitna
Who’s HIS backup?

Theoretically speaking of course

I dreamed about the Seahawks (again!)
The Rams lost to the Niners 24-14 and Leon Washington had a huge kick return for a touchdown called back because he “stepped out of bounds” when there was clear evidence he didn’t. We lost to the Bucs 24-10.

I think Vick will win it, but ...
It’s worth noting that Philly without Vick would probably still be a fringe playoff team.
I think the second part of that can be said about New England and Tom Brady as well
It’s a tough call. I wouldn’t argue with either one. If Vick wins I could see why. If Brady wins I could see why.

You think New England would be a fringe playoff team without Brady?
Bad defense, not a ton of skill position talent.
I should have worded that differently
I meant that without Brady New England doesn’t even make the post-season.

Watched "Top 10 Steelers"
Of course they showed Hines Ward making the catch against Seattle in the Super Bowl.
That play did not infuriate me nearly as much as that retarded 3rd and 29 getting a first down.
Accustomed to mediocrity.
Stop. I get it. We lost XL.
Ironically, some people here have heard my story from that night. My nose started bleeding tonight, too… only while I was with… someone. I’ll continue to blame XL for my infortuitous nose bleeds. Fuck.
Love the game, love the beer, love your team.

If Skeletor plays well...
One less team drafting a QB in next year’s draft?
You sir, are an omnipotent juicebox.
my wife got me "100 things" for christmas
What a lady :) but besides all that, merry merry christmas twelves, thanks for all the insightful and occasionally poignant football analysis. This is my first year on Field Gulls and it has changed the way I watch, and appreciate, football. So in a very indirect way, Mr. Morgan and all other contributors have given me a great christmas present. Go Hawks!

Yeah I got not one but two copies of "100 Things" today.
Though the spare is already on a neighbor’s porch with a homemade smore kit. Looking forward to getting into mine before bed tonight.

Jealous of Skelton?
Or getting to beat up on a crappy McGee?

but... but... playoffs!
I feel a lot more ready to take the plunge for a new QB next year than I was in the Ruskell era. (I don’t think this is a direct knock on Ruskell, just that I feel that we have the stability as a franchise to bring up a quarterback again.)

Just a reminder
You aren’t allowed to get excited after scoring a touchdown.

Good lord Theismann
The ball hit the ground. It’s an incomplete pass.
Theismann is a troll.
Accustomed to mediocrity.
I missed that moment
But the Cowboys have a head coach named Jason Campbell according to Theismann.

"If they [49ers] win out I believe they win the division"
Retard. Seattle winning out nullifies it.

Millen thinks Fitzgerald called a timeout to tell Skelton to throw him the ball no matter the coverage?
The mind of Millen.
This is it for Dallas.
No timeouts.

Theismann you dumbass
Dallas is in Arizona territory and you’re bitching about a lack of urgency with over 2 mins to go?
Accustomed to mediocrity.
So, I got a copy of Win Forever for Christmas.
Not bad, some interesting insights and I agree with most of Carroll’s philosophies, but it’s a bit cliche and feels more like a speech than anything else.
Also Pete's biggest "struggles" in high school still included him being a 3 sport athlete.
Hard to relate to that.
I don't know, man...
…I mean, I am the most unathletic slob ever but I was a “2 sport athlete” at my high school (football and wrestling). Would have been a “3 sport athlete” but I could never keep my grades high enough come spring to justify turning out for baseball (I would have sucked at that too, but still).
