FG Podcast: Super Bowl Freakout!
As a wise man once said, "Now, that's just bad. You've got no attitude, you're barely outrageous, and I don't know what you're in, but it's not my face. Next!"
Catch you on the flip side, dudemeisters.

Your description of Largent
Reminded me of the gay WR from Playmakers, if anyone remembers that show.
Just out of curiosity, could you name some choices you had for the head coaching position?
Great podcast, by the way. Sound is perfect, well articulated, and one of my favorite segments from Field Gulls.

Great podcast
I really enjoy listening to these.
Everybody: have an epic Super Sunday!

I was working on Superbowl Sunday
the year the Seahawks were in the Superbowl. And yes, I lived in Washington at the time (only a short ferry ride away from Seattle). My boss was evil. They also had me working during the NFC championship game. And it was well known I was by far the largest football fan there. I’ve still never seen the game, and I never really want to after all I’ve heard about the result. Oh well.
Now with more lemon bars!
I guess the other big news of the day (alluding to the last part of that podcast)
Is Rod Marinelli becoming the Bears d-coordinator when he could’ve been ours.
In a related story I expect Cutler to ask for another trade.

Sleater-Kinney. Dig Me Out. Nice.
(their Best Album is ‘the Woods’ though, imo because it’s their first album to really emphasize the guitars)
Oh yeah, football. My $35-for-the-season football pool where you have to pick the winner, straight-up, of every NFL game has come down to the wire. I’m tied for second, first is in play, and I can finish no lower than 3rd.
1st prize: $500. Second: $350. Third: $150. Fourth prize: bupkis.
So as much as I’d like to simply enjoy this game for what it is: two #1 seeds, each with a great offense and lots of exciting players, potential to be a great high flying superbowl no daggers for Seahawks fans (see Pittsburgh vs Arizona for daggers galore) I’m just agonizing over who to pick and why. If I was in first, I would pick the Colts. So, for me, in second, if I pick the Colts then the best I can hope for is second place. If I pick the Saints, I could finish in 1st, but I could also fall to 3rd: a $350 swing. Ugh. I don’t know: the Colts should probably win in their briefcase-to-the-office fashion and I could just walk away with 2nd place. But the N.O. win scenario is probably the wackier and more exciting game: and it will make the game more dramatic for me.
Can you tell I’m leaning Saints? Plus, really, as a Seahawks fan you have to empathize with the Aints. At the same time, Peyton Manning is incredible. He deserves the win for his legacy.
Gaaaah.
Sleater-Kinney should get back together. I’d love to hear them as a 4-piece with a bass player…
