"Nuclear Cabbage"?
The uni post that lemonverbana put up made me curious...now that a little time has passed, what do people think of the bright green alternate jerseys?
via halfmanhalfdog.files.wordpress.com
For what it's worth, I love the bright green and hope they bring it back for a game or two a year. I bought a lime Lofa and love it. The green is my personality: loud, a bit obnoxious, perhaps even offensive.
Hey, look! A poll!

Sounds like an aristocratic cocktail invented in Raleigh
Yes sir, I reckon I will have another Lime Carlson.
Shanghai Kelly's on Polk St. in San Francisco is the worst bar on the face of the earth (at least on Sunday mornings).
Pure Pot Still Irish Whiskey, Sweet Vermouth, Angostura Bitters, a spoonful of brown sugar
and a lime wedge skewered by a Touchdown Jesus-topped toothpick.

A nuclear cabbage sounds like a college party drink served in a funny looking mug.

Wouldn't want them for a whole season
But for one or two games a year, LOVE THEM!
Hopefully Pete brings them back. I could see Pete thinking they’re “awesome.”
If I didn't have a boatload of autographs on my blue Carlson
I would have bought a green one.
I probably should anyway since they’re done and I can always get a new jersey autographed easy enough.
6/14/40. Sweet.
I love them
It’s a weird green and good for Seattle for having colors no one else does since the Pacific NW is such a different place.
Give me an offensive line or give me death!
Surprised to see that the general consensus has flip-flopped since before
the team wore them.
A Mariners fan in Seattle
I liked them when they wore them too.

Yeah.... when they first came out everyone was bitching like crazy.
Now they seem to be OK with it.
I love them.
I loved them since they wore them.
I still want them to keep playing in them
Talents that I covet:
Ndamukong Suh, Gerald McCoy, Sam Bradford, Mike Iupati, Golden Tate, Earl Thomas, and Freddie Barnes

Was it Mora who banned them / said they were no more?
In that case, all the more reason to bring them back. :)

Am I follower...
…or a trend-setter for rec-cing the thing everyone else is rec-cing in the name of blazing a trail?
Did Mora scapegoat these jerseys before or after he scapegoated Chris Spencer?
That also marked when I hit the panic button last season, when he talked about the jerseys being bad luck.

I like them a lot.
I did not understand why people hated them. The dark blue pants worked well with them also.

Hated them then,
hate them now. In addition, I’d prefer they look less like the Sounders and more like the Seahawks.

I love them
I actually think the all cobalt blue is depressing boring.
I’d love to see the grey and green sported with a silver helmet!
It is what it is...
FYI, the general reaction in any sports bar outside of Washington State to those uniforms...
…is uproarious laughter and mockery of anyone sporting a Seahawks logo.
It’s the only NFL jersey I’ve seen that looks more cute than tough.
I’m not a fan.
But if you like them…to each his own.

I don't give a damn what people outside of the Seahawks fandom thinks
Those unis are awesome and I want them to return.

To refute that;
I think they are lame and want them to never return.

Oh yeah, those Cards uni's are bad-ass.
OH CRAP IT’S A LITTLE RED BIRD!
Are they officially done?
I only see a curry and a authentic customized available for purchase on the seahawks.com pro shop.

Looks like it.
Tatupu, Hass, Tru, Kerney and Fan (#12) are listed under “Sale.” Further down they’ve got a lime premier Peterson also. Interesting.
exactly
The fact that the lime greens are on sale at the pro shop isn’t a good sign for their future game use by the Seahawks.

Ahhhh.
Yeah, I’m not buying any of those jerseys haha.
I’d honestly love a Mebane jersey, but he’s a FA after this season, and all I need is for the Hawks not to re-sign him. F That.
At least I know my Carlson jersey has at least 2 more good seasons of use.

I miss my Walter Jones black shadow jersey
Gawd it was beautiful. Gone now. How, you ask? No freaking comment.
So now I have an away Tats, and I really like it. Years ago I had a cheap Shawn Springs home, gave it away when I got the Walter.
So now I’d like a nuke-cab. Something about them makes them look not as good for other positions as they do for WRs. Dunno why. Don’t like Branch. Love Housh, but it’s a temporal pickup; something about jerseys make me want there to be more of a substantial Hawk career behind them. Marshall, well, welcome should he come, but the character. What a predicament.

They're still the worst football unis I have ever seen.
