Hulu.com's NFL Game of the week Sea @ Stl Nov 2005
Man I miss that O line. It makes me really miss Walter Jones and Steve Hutch on the left. Was fun to watch all the drama and rivalry again. If I remember right we were 2-2 going into this game and was the game that started our incredible streak to the Super Bowl..
I always enjoy the shots of the upset Rams fans through out the game.

Nice!
Jurevicious was a monster in that game. Tatupu’s reaction to getting razzed about his first interception was pretty funny, too.
Holy shit Matt had arm strength back then.
Is that the light at the end of the tunnel, or the headlights of an oncoming train?
He had time to plant his feet and make a throw.
not wondering if someone is going to hit him in his blindside.
Give me an offensive line or give me death!

He was also 5 years younger and hadn't had several injuries
Matt’s lost armstrength doesn’t have anything to do with his pass protection.
He also had the mobility to avoid the initial pass rush and buy time for his receivers
That ability is pretty much gone now.

Indeed.
Another example I noticed from that game: Our top receivers were Joe Jurevicious, Jerramy Stevens and some dude named Hannam. Exhibit #240 that you don’t need elite receivers to have a winning offense.

Also, wow that fake FG/pooch punt by the Rams was nigh retarded.

Wow.
What a game that was, I think what I really enjoy watching it is one, how sharp Matt looks, but even more than that is watching Mack Strong be just a total fucking beast.
So...BEASTly...
Though they sink through the Sea, they shall rise again...Death shall have no dominion...
Too bad Steven Jackson is stuck on a shitty team now.
I always liked the guy. He deserves better.

Watching that game makes me wish both the Hawks and Rams will get good again soon...
so we can revive that great rivalry we had in the early ’00s.

I just got done watching the 2006 game where the Hawks had an illegal formation penalty with six seconds left.
Rams thought they’d won the game but illegal formation penalties don’t have a ten second run off like false starts do. That was all after the Torry Holt Circus catch that put the Rams up by one with about a minute and a half left.
Such terrible playing calling at the end of the game there.
So fortunate McDonald fumbled that punt return.
That was such a good offense we had, but that defense never made me comfortable.
