Whitehurst here to battle
I like the attitude. I have no idea what Whitehurst will bring, but I'm pleased that Matthew's job isn't safe in the eyes of Carroll.

Just Like Mitch Mustain was in a battle with Matt Barkley last year
Once PC has his guy at QB anything else he says is fluff.
[DELETED ZOMG NO POLITICS]
I'd be very surprised if Whitehurst isn't the Hawks' new starting QB.
Why would they have signed him to 2 years? With the option to renegotiate after ONE year? What’s there to renegotiate after a year of warming the bench?
6/14/40. Sweet.
Yeah, I'm thinking we may have seen
the last HassToss.
It's Great to be a Florida Gator!
The Arizona Cardinals' plan for success:
-Lose all talent on team to retirement and free agency.
-Call it a day.

After one year, he can renegotiate the type of bench he sits on and the color of the clipboard
It’s in his contract details. Look it up.

He's got only two choices
1. Seahawks blue
or
2. Nuclear cabbage.
Talents that I covet:
Ndamukong Suh, Gerald McCoy, Sam Bradford, Mike Iupati, Golden Tate, Earl Thomas, and Freddie Barnes

Even though I'm glad to see something being done about the QB situation
and I’m glad Whitehurst is going to press Hasselbeck, I can’t help but feel a little heat when I watch the press conference. I guess It’s just from having Hasselbeck as our QB for so long, for Walrus being here for so long, and now all of a sudden all this stuff is in flux. I still think we paid too much for Whitehurst, but I’m looking forward to seeing what he can do.

Schneider might have a little man-crush on Candy Mountain.
Supposedly, Schneider has had his eye on Whitehurst since being in the scouting/evaluation team with the Packers.
Said Schneider of watching Whitehurst at Clemson: "I just was extremely impressed and had a hard time getting him out of my mind."
It will be interesting to see what happens in the “Quarterback battle” this offseason.
