Uneasy feeling
First post, and maybe unwarranted, but I really felt the need to vent a bit.
Wow.
This team seems to be getting a little bit worse with each passing day. If I didn't know any better I might think Bill Bavasi had snuck back into town. Terrific time to be a Hawks fan. Whitehurst? At that price? Really?
All grumbling aside, have there been any transactions this offseason that anyone thinks have helped this team? Accumulating draft picks isn't a bad thing, but we have several _starting_ positions that are currently vacant. What's left for us in free agency? Can we fill all these holes in the draft?
Could be that I'm missing the bigger picture here, but none of these moves have made any sense to me yet. Maybe it will all fall into place over time, and I'll feel bad for ever doubting, but right now I'm just befuddled by the moves this team has made.
Really scared of what might happen with the draft.

Concerning your last question...
You should remember that the rebuilding process is not going to be done over one offseason. — it’s going to take years. I would go so far as to say that such a circumstance would be an pipe dream. So, no, I really, really doubt the Seahawks are going to fill all the holes in one draft.
The real key is to acquire above average to elite talent at key positions, and see how the collective talent meshes and performs on the field.
Talents that I covet:
Ndamukong Suh, Gerald McCoy, Sam Bradford, Mike Iupati, Golden Tate, Earl Thomas, and Freddie Barnes
Why so crazy?
When we consider we’ve had 9 wins over the last 2 years.
The team looked horrible the last 4 games.
There is only 1 maybe 3 (if you stretch it) players on this defense that are franchise cornerstone players.
We have a new coach, and he’s determined to make the team in the image he deems necessary. I don’t have a problem with him getting his new QB, and stocking up draft picks. The status quo just sucked.
And really, with Jake Delhomme getting 7 frickin million a year, are you really that upset at paying Whitehurst 5?
I’m so thankful Mike Holmgren isn’t our GM. I can’t imagine thinking Jake Delhomme is the answer. At least Whitehurst is a young unproven QB.
We havn't stocked up in draft picks.
We’ve only gained one this year, and we lost a more valuable draft pick next year. And we moved way back in the 2nd.
Now with more lemon bars!
In the words of some dude once

Isn't that just poetry to your ears?
