B-Marsh nearly a Jet
The bidding war looks like it came down to highest pick (Jets, 29th overall) and biggest contract (Dolphins), the contract offer of the Jets not being acceptable to B-Marsh, and the Dolphins contract surprising even him.
While the Seahawks were the most aggressive pursuers, the Jets were the front-runners as late as the NFL owners meetings in late March in Orlando, Fla.

If that's true, that makes no sense to me
The Jets are a playoff team and Marshall would have been a scarily good addition.
that makes me happy not to have him
Miami could be a playoff team again, Henne is a better QB than Sanchez right now.
Then again Florida doesn’t have an income tax either so he can pocket a lot that money that could be part of it too.
6 - Williams/Bulaga, 14 - Spiller, 60 - Houston
6 - McCoy, 14 - Brown, 60 - Hardesty
6 - Berry, 14 - Brown, 60 - Houston
Either way it is pretty bad ass
