Russell Okung and the Labors of Blocking for Zac Robinson

1. 1st and 10 at OKST 20 Kendall Hunter rush for no gain to the OKSt 20.

Okung pulls out and engages the middle linebacker, but immediately loses him. The run is stuffed on the right. Okung's assignment does not factor, but could have. He's standing in feet in front of Hunter as Hunter is tackled.

2. 2nd and 10 at OKST 20 Zac Robinson pass complete to Tracy Moore for 6 yards to the OKSt 26.

Okung drop-steps left as if to pass block, but once the defender has commited, fires into a cut block. He hits, but does not fell the defender. Quick pass right.

3. 3rd and 4 at OKST 26 Zac Robinson rush for 1 yard to the OKSt 27.

Russell Okung stays square with Jeremy Beal and rides him wide and well away from Robinson. Pressure arrives off right end and though he has a good pocket to step into, Robinson panics and scrambles. Beal separates from Okung and tracks down Robinson for the tackle.
