Around SBN: Why Hockey Fans Should Root For Devils Vs. Kings

Lots of average to above average guys as far as Madden ratings go. Nothing too horrific, nothing too amazing.

Housh leads the team in Swagger rating, Okung has the worst.

Swagger pisses me off.

Seriously, are a bunch of middle aged white men determining which players have swagger? Thats a joke. Forsett is too low.

the reason I'm not buying the game

for the first time in 6 years. I’ve supported the work that they’ve done to try and get a better engine, make improvements, yada yada. But the Swagger rating is BS, f em.

good points

but they always kind of fit in with the game before. “this game is brought to you by” seems fine because it happens. To have a product logo smack dab in the middle of the stat window is something that I would see to much. That and I’m not sold on the gameplay additions for this year.

The run blocking changes are amazing in NCAA this year, Madden looks to have made the same changes.

Ditto for the locomotion changes. I was describing it to a friend and I kept saying “It just feels really good.”

They've actually improved the game, at least in NCAA, instead of bull shit gimmicks like "Superstar Players".

This ones a road grader, and this ones a spectacular catcher! But they still play the same as always!

that's good to hear

and I’ll probably end up renting it but things like lack of a training camp, lack of different line strategies, and not being able to put players on IR have finally bothered me enough to sit out this year.

That's the point of swagger

so the superstar players start playing at a superstar level once they make impact plays and continue to make high-impact plays.

we’ll see if it works, but if it does, I think it could actually end up being pretty cool

It shouldn’t be called swagger though, that’s stupid as hell, should just be called simply Impact or something like that.

well shit

nevermind, the article I read was apparently before it was “officially” described…

it’s all bullshit in that case

I Like Housh, and he does turn the swag on, but

Matt, for better or more likely worse, is a God damn swashbuckler out there. He’s cocky, confident, and cuts down trees with his penis. If that’s not white-man-swagger, I don’t know what is.

And he slip-'n-slides like a downright G.

Interesting that Cole eclipses Mebane in a few categories.

That skews my view of how realistic the ratings are. Also, Earl Thomas looks like a kick-ass FS.

Red Bryant: surprise us!

Yeah he does.

But only if you control him yourself – his awareness is pretty lousy. I would sub in Kam Chancellor at SS too.

Swagger is (according to EA) supposedly just

how likely the player is to celebrate after a touchdown or big play. It doesn’t affect their play at all

where'd they say this?

last thing I read is that it’s a multiplier so they make bigger plays consistently

nevermind

my information was old and apparently incorrect

That can't be right

Kelly Jennings should have negative swagger
And Nick Reed should be in the millions.
