Dispelling Terrell Owens Rumors
Someone will sign Owens and probably be happy with his production, but Seattle is neither the right situation nor the right fit.

I'm still pissed...
at that jerk for signing a ball in the Squawks endzone after a touchdown.

Your culture is primitive; yet so funky!
You're probably right, John
Besides, barring MAJOR desperation, I can’t imagine TO would even want to sign with Seattle.
The Bills, last off-season, appeared to be a strong team. The Seahawks don’t (though very well could out-perform the 09 Bills).

Losing Morey would gain us a 4-5th rounder?
Sorry Morey, you gotta go. And I think a 4-5th is worth more then TO also.
Of course, if they go after Lynch or anyone, it’s all moot, but still.
Yep.
If the Hawks had a strong veteran core of players (which they don’t seem to at this time) and were a player or two away (at WR) from the playoffs then I would say it is worth a look. Since the Hawks aren’t (or at least don’t seem to be at this point in the offseason) then Owens is not worth the baggage at this point and I can’t see a need for a guy that may make waves in the locker room.
The guy is still a good WR, but you have to messure where you are as a team and if he can help this team not only this year, but 2-3 years from now when the team is a legit playoff type team again (or at least I hope they are). At least guys like Whitehurst or Losman are legit prospects with a possible future on the Hawks, I can’t say the same about Owens.
