"Seattle linebacker Leroy Hill was suspended one game by the NFL for violating its policy on substance abuse. He is also fined an additional game check.
The suspension is not a surprise, and it follows Hill's guilty plea to a charge of misdemeanor drug possession in Georgia in April.
Hill's suspension begins Sept. 4 and concludes after the Seahawks play the San Francisco 49ers on Sept. 12 after which he may rejoin the team and the active roster.
Hill is still facing an assault charge in Issaquah Municipal Court, which is currently progressing toward trial. His next appearance is scheduled for Wednesday." - Danny O'Neil , Seattle Times
Much less than I was expected, but perhaps he'll get some more for the assault charge.
