Aaron Curry Attempts the Strip on Louis Rankin

Since I have a little time to kill and no where to sleep tonight, let's roll out some of these photos while I attempt to eat this practically inedible Domovoi sandwich. Ugh.

I like that Aaron Curry is holding Louis Rankin up with one arm and has the other hooked between Rankin and the ball attempting the strip. I have read a lot of theories about why Curry struggled his first season, but I think it's enough to say he was a rookie and sometimes rookies struggle. Kid has a load of potential and the heart to work and work until he reaches it.

Curry's off field life

wasn’t chronicled much last year, but it surely had an impact on his drop off. His fiance was pregnant and in short order he got married and had a baby (all during the season). Anyone who has had offspring knows that this can seriously impact your work life. Add this to being a rookie, moving across the nation to live, becoming an instant multi-millionaire and his team sucking and the scale of life/work balance easily tips. Sometimes we forget these guys are only human. I’m hoping for big things from a focused Curry this year under the tutelage of Ken Norton Jr..
