OT Ray Willis to undergo knee surgery, expected to sideline him for start of regular season
Other injury news:
After sitting out a week with a sore hamstring, Lofa Tatupu is back in practice.
The did not practice list is still quite long: LB Leroy Hill, WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh, OT Ray Willis, DE Nick Reed, DE Ricky Foley. Houshmandzadeh's absence is not due to injury, he was excused to deal with a personal matter.

Edited post to reflect the more important breaking news:
No specification on what kind of knee surgery it is or how long he’s likely to be out. Will add when we get it.
Ugh. Looks like we're stuck with Locklear at RT.
I hope HE can stay healthy.

I'm starting to think that we'll need to target a RT early in the next draft

Yeah
I was thinking more along the lines with our 2nd round pick but it’s too early to tell for sure. Just a feeling I have.

But, but but...
Ray Willis needs to be insurance for planet Locklear (oh so swiftly-tilting)!
