DT Kentwan Balmer passes physical, RB Adrian Peterson released
As per Eric Williams.
Balmer is welcome to join the Expendables. 30-year old former Bears RB Adrian Peterson was never likely to be more than a camp body.
EDIT: Seahawks also signed a kicker and released LB Alvin Bowen to clear a spot. One injury stand-in to replace another, nothing to see here.

Here’s hoping that Balmer adds some much needed depth. I still think he’s going to ultimately play more 5 technique than 3 technique, but we’ll see. :)

I am curious
He has experience playing the 5-tech, as well as under-tackle. So I kind of seeing him as rotational depth for both Mebane and Red.

Balmer in Seattle, somewhat healthy and ready to practice. Getting over that hurdle had to be about 25% of the risk in this trade. If he sucks that is one thing, but having him here and practicing offers some relief.
