Xfinity's NFL RedZone Channel

NFL RedZone is a ground breaking channel designed to deliver the touchdowns and most important moments during all the Sunday afternoon games. When a team gets inside the 20 yard line, NFL RedZone takes you there. The channel, hosted by NFL Network's Scott Hanson, is in its second year of existence and delivers more than just live game action. NFL RedZone also offers comprehensive game coverage, up-to-the-minute fantasy stats, extended highlights, and more.

Reviewers have referred to the channel as:

"By far, the most innovative sports television creation of 2009—or even the decade."

Dusty Saunders, The Denver Post

"…the NFL Red Zone, an out-of-body, all-encompassing, died-and-woke-up-in-football-heaven
experience.
"

Bill Conlin, Philadelphia Daily News

"NFL Red Zone: The greatest invention since pizza."

Eddie White, WFNI 1070 The Fan Radio

"…seven hours of pure pigskin bliss…"

Robert Weintraub, Slate

Much better headlining

I see “NFL” and “channel” in the largest-print title. Good work.

These posts are weak.

I get the Xfinity advertising, but it’s FAR FAR too frequent and obtrusive.

I get it: you sponsor SBNation. I get it: you want me to subscribe.

I laughed. I cried. It was much better than Cats. I'd go see it again and again.

Red Zone Chanel Sucks

They replaced regular football games with it on the armed forces network when I was in Iraq and took away our little enjoyment of actually following a game occasionally. Its a great chanel if your a baseball fan and don’t really follow a NFL team…

Red Zone Channel:

Cool during commercial breaks between the many, many games on DirecTV’s NFL Sunday Ticket package which is NOT offered by Comcast and NOT part of this incessant XFinity crap.

Everyone knows that Comcast is trying to preserve and add to their NFL fan-base, which is fine. They still offer the worst TV package I’ve ever used and don’t carry Sunday Ticket. So, there is no reason to use them for anything other than Internet.

Red Zone channel is not exclusive to Comcast. So, sell the RZC all you want, but the real football isn’t even available from your service, Comcast.

However, thanks for helping to sponsor this, the best blog on the Internet. :)
