Seahawk Fans in SF?
Since moving from Seattle to San Francisco, I've been on a solo mission to bring together the scattered 12th men & women to a common place every Sunday to cheer for the good guys. While I've been able to rally some (~10 give or take), it's not where I'd like it to be yet. With that said, any die hard Hawks fans out in SF looking to unite on the weekend in neon green glory?
If so, here's what you should do..
We usually get together at this great Irish pub in Lower Haight called Danny Coyle's, which has TV's everywhere and a projector in the back for big games. The atmosphere is great, and nearly every jersey from every team is there on any given Sunday. While it's been labeled a Chargers bar, the owner himself is a really cool guy, and is definitely not biased at all...Actually, recently he's been putting the Hawks on the projector when I come around, which is always a good sign (last Hawks/9ers game was EPIC).
With that said, let me know if anyone here is down to meet there on Sundays from here on out..Like I said before. it's a great atmosphere and one of the better bars in the city. Looking forward to seeing you all there!

If he's showing the Seahawks, maybe I'll show up.
I hate being stuck watching the niners every sunday.
The good thing is...
…NO Niner fans come to this bar. Much more Oakland and Charger fans. They’re all good people too.
Are you going to the Niners/Hawks game?
I’m flying down from Seattle for it with my Pops.
Field Gulls: my anti-PFT.
I support this endeavor
Even though I don’t live in San Fransisco and I don’t know any Seahawks fans that do.
Thanks for posting this...
I haven’t really connected with many Seahawks fans down here either. I’d be happy to stop by sometimes, but probably can’t make it every weekend.
I'm not in SF.
But I’m in Fairfield. I don’t think I’d travel that long every weekend, but maybe a couple times. I’m planning on going to the SF/Seattle game.
I've been there for both preseason games so far..
..And it’s been pretty great. I plan on hitting this place up for every game and make it official. The bigger I can make this thing the better.
Why should there be Steeler’s and Eagles bars in SF, and not one for the Seahawks? The fact that we’re in the same division doesn’t help, but for the amount of crazy fans from Seattle down here, something needs to happen.
There is a Patriots bar too.

I moved out of SF 10 years ago
I miss it like no other. Good to see there’s a decent Seahawks fanbase there though.
Toronto FC - Where road games are forfeited and we STILL have no idea how to play from behind.
Have to write in subject line(frankenstein voice)
Yo, I have been to that bar a few times, great for games. I am somewhat reluctant to go out to a bar in SF unless I can guarantee sound and all four quarters. I got a 50 inch and the package, and a few seahawk friends show up from time to time. If you don’t mind a one and a half year old hawk fan, you are welcome. Ill come down for the second 49er game cause I know they will play it. I am going to the first one, and the raider game. Raiders are my second team, being here five years now. Does anyone think I will survive the game in a silver and black hawk suit?

Also
I am saving up for a dive bar, only another 100 gs to go. Thinking about a demented Emerald city / OZ theme, just so it will go with Seattle sports. Come on, Fish and chips with hawks games. Ichiro dogs during the mariner resurgance of 2013. Thunder games on the big screen. I kid. God I want a Seattle sports themed/ bay area bar so bad. I could care less if I barely break even.

Hell yes
My oh my Shepard’s pie would be on that damn menu, for sure. My wife wants me out of the bar business, work at Americano by the ferry building, and I am trying to finish up college. But damn, the elemard city keeps calling me, and I keep putting money away for the chance to see it through. A hip OZ theme with a crazy kick would work, and the Seattle fans would be gravy on gamedays.

They're so scattered man...
I run into a hand full of Hawks fans every bar I go to, so it’s only right that a bar like that would pan out. I’m in!
Ka-Kaaa!
You think that will happen soon, or in several years?
That sounds like something I’d come back to the area to see, cause I think I’ll be gone by then.
So who's in then?
So far it sounds like a good handful of you are game, so if you can make I’ll be at Danny Coyle’s for the Viking’s game this weekend. Looking forward to it!
Prediction: Matt continues to look like his old self, Leon is a clear standout, the progression of Mike Williams being the man continues, and Charlie Whitehurst has more of a preseason game 1 than a preseason game 2…Oh, and can Curry please lay somebody out for me? I’ll wear my neon green Curry jersey just in case . GO HAWKS!

Also:
Trufant maybe has a hiccup but continues to dominate. Jennings stays his awful self as Wilson flashes. The line has real issues as Gibson and Wrotto try to take the reins on the left side.
Though they sink through the Sea, they shall rise again...Death shall have no dominion...
I'll be the guy in the over-sized Largent jersey carrying John Morgan's book

Didn't even know that was out yet...

Works for me...
I’m in Seattle for the opener against SF, but will be there for the Broncos game for sure (and every other one from there on out). See you there!

Dammit -- gotta fantasy draft
Don’t start this habit, whatever you do.
Seahawks Fans Cannot Be Cured
I would
But work Monday through Friday at night. Gonna be crazy in the city tonight, with the warm weather and all. I am going to be staring at short skirts all night.

Won't be there Thursday, but...
Will be there for the opener vs. the Whiners!! I live in Lower Haight, am an avid Hawks fan and was thrilled to see a group of Hawks fans assembling for games…especially in my neighborhood! I’ll be easy to spot: the only person wearing a Branch jersey this side of the Mississippi.
I will be in Seattle for that one, but hold the fort down!
We’re already getting a nice showing, so let’s keep it up. The bartender and I have had some discussions too, and he has no problems playing Hawk games on the projector either.
Oh, and don’t be ashamed of the Branch jersey. Not nearly as bad as the time I thought it would be a good idea (in high school) to save up for an authentic Mike Cameron jersey. That thing worked for about a year…See you for the Broncos game!

I no longer have to sit in Oakland
at a crappy sports bar and watch the Hawks games by myself in the corner on the tiny tv? … I’m in
GO HAWKS!!!
In Seattle for the opener, but hoping all of you can make it down to Danny Coyle’s (Haight & Pierce) while I’m out. The owner is named Brian and he’s an awesome guy, and my friend Stephen is one of the bartenders as well. Tell them Jerome sent you, and there may even be a shot of Jameson in your future..
See you all next week for the Broncos game. GO HAWKS!!! BEAT THE 9ers!!!
Ka-Kaaa!
Great showing so far...
We have about 12 people strong so far from word-of-mouth and Field Gulls, which is a great start. Thanks to everyone for making this happen!
Oh, and as mentioned above this is (primarily) a Chargers bar, so this week is HUGE. Their fans at the bar are actually great guys, so it will most likely be a war of the awesome fans that have little animosity towards each other. Fun times.
I will be there in my neon Curry jersey, so hopefully everyone makes it back (and brings extra Hawk fans). See you then!
