Bradford looked awesome. If he stays healthy, look out. Love my Hawks, but I am willing to accept reality. Bradford could be the best QB in the NFC West; this year.

This year?

That would require him having someone to throw to. Or an O-line.

without an o-line or receiver

he just destroyed the patriot’s #1s

Donnie Avery likely out for the season.

I’m more worried about the future, when they do have receivers and an o-line.

What?

Bradford has yet to play in a regular season game. He could be anywhere from decent to horrible this year. Remember how the Seahawks were 4-0 in the preseason last year? Surprising they didn’t at least win the division. (sarcasm)!

I second the "What?" on this one

Even Thaddeus Lewis lit up the Pats D last night. That said, being the best QB in the NFC West is not a high hurdle. Let’s see what he does in the regular season before getting too excited/worried.

He didn't play with the #1s

It shouldn’t be surprising.

He didn't play against the #1s either

Oh preseason, you torturous tantalizing beast!

good points

and from the 10 or so plays I saw he was locked onto one receiver the entire time, waiting until they got open/completed their route. If this wasn’t against the Patriots “elite” defense nobody would be giving it the time of day.

I agree

that’s why I put the sarcasm quotes on there. Bradford looked OK but no where near the “HOLY SHIT HE FIGURED IT OUT” praise that the NFL Network and ESPN are giving him.

wow, you have really got yourself convinced that he wont be anything

from the 500 or so plays i watched Hasselbeck, I would take Bradford in a heartbeat. I’m not just saying that as a rams homer.

Niners' Nate Davis looked good the other night too.

…don’t know if I am really looking forward to seeing what he can do in a year or two either.

I don't trust a QB that doesn't use the laces of the football to throw (Nate Davis)

He has a lot to prove regardless, but this one issue baffles me. I just don’t see how that works in bad weather. Especially considering that he has small hands. It clearly doesn’t impact his ability to throw the ball deep with velocity in good weather, but it will impact his accuracy and control of the ball.

You really like these knee-jerk statements with rookie QBs

Can we wait until he has to play regular season opposition?

The only thing the Rams have going for them is their schedule is not that tough.

Toronto FC - Where road games are forfeited and we STILL have no idea how to play from behind.

Ah, wow.

I simply said it is exciting to be a Ram fan. We would be going gaga over a Hasselbeck or Whitehurst performance in NE in preseason game three if it had been like Bradford’s.

I watched the entire game. Bradford looked fantastic. Better than anyone on the Cardinals team, better than anyone on the Seahawk’s, better than anyone on the 49ers.

Excited is something I think we can accept. Maybe not the best in NFC West. But he is close.

It is what it is...
