Wow
I must say that second gif is very exciting indeed. Thanks for that. Not sure how good it is that that made my Friday night.
Also, I saw The Expendables tonight...
so take that for what it’s worth, and keep it in mind.
Expendables
won’t win any oscars, but damn that was an entertaining flick! :)

He is the reason why
I don’t mind trade talks which include Branch or Housh. I think we got a big time WR for a bag of chips. Everyone might not like or understand all the FO moves, but thisone worked.
A Frivolous Question
But can/will Williams keep #1 once the season starts? If so, that’s pretty sweet (and I might want that jersey)

I second this question.
For some ridiculous reason I’ve always liked receivers with low numbers. I was hoping Golden would keep his low 20.
Really? I don't like it.
Or, to clarify, I don’t like WR’s with numbers higher than 9. I’m not sure why. I was against them having numbers from 1-9 for a while too but I’ve gotten used to it.
Guess I was always a fan of the NFL’s old system. Highly regimented.
I think because it's a more rare occurrence to see a Receiver with a 1-20 number.
It’s the same reason I like players with interesting names I guess. If all WRs were in the low number range, I’d probably like WRs in the 80’s.
He can have 10-19.
Nothing in the 1-9 range.
Which sucks, he makes #1 look pretty sweet.
Actually
I think people are going to start clamoring for Leon Washington jerseys pretty soon…

Definitely rooting hard for Mike Williams
I feel really bad for the guy. He got completely screwed by the courts changing the rule and then changing it back after he hired an agent. I still think that NCAA rule is bullshit. Who was he really hurting if he went back to school for another year? Then he gets drafted by the Lions of all teams. Like he really had any chance of success there…
I’m not expecting him to be the #1 people thought he’d be, but I’d still be thrilled if he ended up being a solid contributor. Definitely good to have a big, handsy kinda guy in the redzone. He could be what Joe Jurevicius was for us in 2005.
I love these GIF's, thank you.
On play #1, the play design is great…. set up to freeze the corner who’s playing a shallow outside zone. You can almost see him going “oh shit, where do I go” as Branch makes his little shimmy.
On play #2… do I see BMW turn his head INSIDE before he cuts out? Nice. Veteran move.
It's nice to see that he's carried over these qualities from the 1st game to the 2nd game.
It shows some consistency.
When the Seahawks first got him, I wondered whether or not the Seahawks were going to cut him before training camp got underway. Now, after two games, I’m wondering just how big his payday is going to be at the end of the season. His $545,000 this year is a bargain.
Golden!
Double-team
If the Hawks run four wides who earns double cover? Williams? Housh? Tate? Certainly leaves Branch 1 on 1 & he might have the best chemistry with Matt having been there the longest. This could really be a fun year if the O-line holds up ! " GO SEAHAWKS!!! "
More like it could be a really fun year if the DEFENSE holds up

Here's hoping
the offense can help ’em out by scoring enough points that the defense can just pin the ears back and unleash hell

Well the talent was always there
It seems like finally the rest of him may be too. So exciting. Williams and Washington I am most excited about.
We may actually have an offense this year!
Which will make the Leo package less a reliability, i think

reliability? liability
time to go get some coffee

Might be a little bit of both lol
If this Leo package is less of a reliability, it makes it a liability :)

Run liability
With the Leo in are they going to have problems with teams running at the left side or is there something to compensate for the smaller deffensive end. Any thoughts on this ???
They seemed rather strong in run defense thus far in the preseason.
But we expect them to run on the Leo side plenty. How that holds up during the course of a regular season remains to be seen.
I’m not so concerned about the run defense nearly as much as I am concerned about the pass rush.

No game planning yet though
If the Leo package is as handicapped as it seems, it will be exploited and gameplanned for in the regular season.

Indeed. Let's not trade our second
for another receiver.

Tampa 2
Well the is were Gus Bradley’s name comes to play he can run a true Tampa two defense if he has a head coach that will let him. The leo is required for that defense, small quick edge rusher while the meat take up the middle and great cover corners and safeties
Wlliams
I was exited the day they had him in for even a tryout. Everything he went through to get to the NFL then getting 1st round draft pick money. Someone that age with that maturity level well it ruined him. 2 years away from the sport he tried so hard to get in to would certainly of humbled him. Mike has the potential to be one of the most elite WR in the league this year because he has an accurate passer, But if the O line can not protect Matt then Mike will be just another Seahawk receiver under 1000 yards and under 10 tds
