Without Lofa in the, there is a big hole there. Earl just closed it hard.

I'd like to see more from Ganther

and if he impresses, lead to JJ hitting the road.

by J.L. White on Aug 28, 2010 6:59 PM PDT up reply actions

I know, and I'm not against keeping JJ around

But the Seahawks will lose one or two good players when we get down to 53….there are a few guys I’d rather keep around than Jones.

by J.L. White on Aug 28, 2010 7:02 PM PDT up reply actions

Probably a bad idea

But part of me wants Q/PM to think outside the box, when it comes to roster composition.

by J.L. White on Aug 28, 2010 7:04 PM PDT up reply actions

I hate those people too

I’ve defended JJ more than once…but I just don’t think he has much of a future with the Seahawks. I’d hate to lose a good Leo end or offensive line man to keep him around for just another season.

by J.L. White on Aug 28, 2010 7:08 PM PDT up reply actions

Let me second that.

Until the middle of last season I was convinced Jones could produce. Not no more.

lets see what was Jones good at vis a vis Forsett

he had excellent speed in open field and could pick up blitzes… who else on the team does that?

I always that that throwing while being sacked was a bad idea

Bryant went for the tackle and not the strip. I think he shoulda just tried to get the strip, but the pressure + incompletion is enough for me.

Leinart seemed to have no time in the last game I watched

Anderson got more time and completed a worse percentage of his passes.

Who knows. I still like Leinart, but its all irrational love for what he did in college.

I liked most of what he did on that play.

He didn’t get beat deep, and he went after the ball. He could have been a little more aggressive going after the ball, but that would be asking for perfection. He looked pretty good on almost every part of that play.
