United Way
I put this up because I have donated to the United Way and believe it to be a good charity that does good work.
Hi SBNation team - Thought this might be up your alley- On Friday, September 10th, United Way and the NFL are teaming up for Back to Football Friday, to celebrate the start of the NFL season and to promote youth health and fitness. To find out more and register, people can go to www.unitedway.org/backtofootball. We’re asking fans to show their NFL team pride by wearing their team’s gear and organizing events focused on raising awareness about youth health at their places of work. People who register are eligible for some great prizes, including a trip to the Superbowl. ESPN's Ron Jaworski and the Oakland Radiers’ Nnamdi Asomugha of the Oakland Raiders are among the NFL figures supporting the effort, and you can watch their videos on the site. There’s even a leaderboard that shows how many fans each team has registered. (Right now the Cowboys are in the lead). We’d love to have you involved.

C'mon people, gotta get the Seahawks into the Top 5!
Oh….and also help keeping kids healthy, I guess. Whatever.
I didn't really understand what this was at first, and I'm not sure I still don't, but it was easy!
And as far as I can tell I’m just supposed to wear my jersey on September 10th, which shouldn’t be too hard.
I signed up!
My work actually is constantly working with United Way and doing a ton of charity stuff, so I’m around them and donate a lot. They are a pretty good group I must say.
Plus it’s Blue Friday…so we’re all going to be wearing our jerseys anyways…right!? Ya’ll better be!

"...the Oakland Radiers’ Nnamdi Asomugha of the Oakland Raiders..."
Seems a little redundant, don’t ya think?
