Seahawks captains: Matt Hasselbeck (O), Lofa Tatupu (D), Roy Lewis (ST)
Roy Lewis is in his second year with the team and was a bit of a surprise to make the roster (well, not after Josh Wilson was traded), but this explains part of it.
And this surprised me a bit, RB Michael Robison is the emergency QB, Eric Williams reports. A task that as far as I know was Deion Branch's the last few years.

Love it.
This team is better with Lofa leading the defense.

I don't think..
A brick wall could stop Brandon Jacobs in his prime. Plus, that’s what we have Curry for!
Ka-Kaaa!
Chancelor
He could stop a 92 Buick going 15. I cant wait to see him unload on Gore if given the opportunity….

There weren't any Klingons in Star Trek 2.

Uh oh, I was waiting for this.
The NEW Star Trek 2. That’s why said “should be”.
…waiting for Trekkies to attack…
…realizing there aren’t a whole lot of Trekkies on football boards…
whew.
TrekKERS, thank you
“Trekkies” are a pre-internet phenomenon centering on The Original Series. The modern, more diverse, often less nutty fans are better referred to as “Trekkers”.
And “Star Trek 2” is accurate, if somewhat confusing, because the second T.O.S. motion picture is referred to as “Wrath of Khan.”
His area of the field?

inside of a dog it's too dark to read.
It would have been a teaspoon full of awesome...
to see Branch line up under center in practice. (Not in a game because that would have meant something horrible.)

Robinson played QB at Penn State
And was pretty good. Not outstanding but he led them to the Orange Bowl win and he’s played with Deon Butler.
4 years, 4 coaches, 7 league road wins, 0 playoff games, 1 GM. Fire Mo Johnston.
223 lbs of Awesome
at 6’1 thats like having a Fullback at Quarterback I like it. We should play the WildCat if this happens, we would be screwed anyway, why not get creative.

Having him as emergency QB is probably at or above the level of having Isaiah Stanbeck as our emergency QB.
Stanbeck the more athletic, Robinson so far the better contributer on special teams.
So Lockear is going to start at right tackle.
And the team no longer plans to move him. Something tells me Carroll and company could have handled that one better.
Have a link to this?
Have not read this.

Thats awkwardly
written.. although it may be because I am illiterate.. well that says nothing about him starting just that they are going to keep him on board, I cant imagine them not restructing his contract, he makes way too much to not be an elite right tackle… I cant imagine one of the new guys is not going to supplant him… he is good for giving up at least 1 sack and some holding calls a game, I hope we can find better.

I agree.
But I initially read the report on rotoworld and it had a very different spin:
Sean Locklear-T- Seahawks Sep. 10 – 4:39 pm et
Coach Pete Carroll announced Friday that the Seahawks have opted to keep RT Sean Locklear.
Locklear was on the trade block last week, but Seattle is so thin at tackle that it’d make little sense to deal or release him. Somewhat surprisingly, the team has not considered moving Locklear to left tackle until Russell Okung (ankle) returns. Locklear will start on the strong side on Sunday.
Source: Eric Williams on Twitter
Then I saw that their only source was EW's tweet.
rotoworld is making a lot of assumptions in that blurb.
Damage Control
The more I think about it the more I think its Pete playing PR with everyone. A player needs to know he is wanted even if going in a different direction and other teams need to believe Locklear is a good addition for trade value.
Otherwise he loses the starting job or I will have to put up with good to suspect pass blocking and mediocre run blocking all year out of him…
and an occasional expletive for a third down conversion taken back because of holding… Locklear is a lazy puppy puncher.. just had to let that slip, made me feel a little better…. sigh

Obo or Babs
I rip Babineaux apart for his Safety play but I like him as a special teams player.

I heard it came down to a tie, but then Jon Ryan cast a vote for his mustache.

I would vote for the Mustache
Thats why we need a playoff, the vote alone is a poor indication and too subjective….

Not after watching the preseason.
Roy Lewis was a beast. And Obo was getting some serious looks at WR.

I really like Roy Lewis.
I listened to an interview with him on the radio a few weeks back, and he’s a straight shooter with ST captain written all over him. I expected him to tap dance around when they asked him about Tyrone Willingham, but he was pretty straight forward that that coaching staff didn’t do their players any favors in getting them to the NFL. I was surprised when he said that 8 Husky players made it to the NFL undrafted under Willingham, and 6 of them have stuck (this was before the final cutdown though).

Danny O'Neil listed the final injury report
Ahmad Brooks has been out all week with a kidney injury. Probably the most significant injury in the matchup outside of our left tackle issue.
Lofa will end the season
with 392 tackles
17 picks (9 for TD’s)
33 sacks
22 forced fumbles (6 for TD’s)
and hoisting the Lombardi after a 19-0 season.
wait and see.
